I didn't know you're a mom! (I'm fairly new to your channel) This gives me so much motivation, you wouldn't believe it! I don't know if you will consider this, but maybe one day, can you make a video on how you juggle being a mom, an artist, and a youtuber? (Don't know if you have a day job too) but this is so motivating and inspiring. I'm a (single) mom and I feel so overwhelmed trying to make time for a hobby most of the time. It helps knowing others are in the same boat and manage it somehow Love your channel and your work, so glad I found you Eta My son just turned 3 in december and since he is now starting to be able to focus a little longer and has more fine motor control, I want to start a big sketchbook with him where I'll draw on one page and he simultaneously draws on the other side. I feel like this will be such a cool experience to do with him and it'll make some good memories along with hopefully getting him more into art (of course not forcing it on him but I want to give him as many different things to try out and maybe get into as I can manage to) The other day he drew his first flower and did so well, I was so proud, I couldn't contain myself. I gave him minimal prompts and he nailed it. Super proud momma moment I tell ya 😊😍

Oh wow 😭The idea of a shared parent/child sketchbook is absolutely brilliant and adorable. That is such a cool way to bond and express creativity. It would be neat to have some pages be of designs where you both start with the same concept and see where each of you take the idea. Another cool idea would be if you sketch the same design on both pages and then each of you can color and add to it however you like 😊

Hey, I draw with fountain pens and brush pens and just stumbled over a really amazing brush pen called Kuretake Sumi Pen. The cool thing is, that it can take a converter (a refillable ink cartridge). You can fill it with fountain pen inks of your choice (waterproof, other color then black, etc). It costs ~15$ for the synthetic tip (35$ sable brush tip) + 5$ for the platinum converter (platinum is a brand name, not material). I highly recommend the cheap one, it has an amazing inkflow and tip.

Hello....I love the color pic of the black woman with orange sweater and glasses...really, really NICE! Your pencil drawings/sketches are excellent. I also like how to try out colors in swatches...I do that, it's the only way to be sure I'm going to get combinations that will work and not need to get sent to the trash bin!

I don't know what Van Gogh paints you got,I tend to see a travel set where I live (Macedonia), but I get tubes of them open stock,and I have a set of ten which I selected and they work great creating all the colors I need. One draw back is that there are no like multicolored colors,like quin gold from D.S. but not many brands do those anyway. I am very happy with my set. I use Fabriano extra white paper with them which really gives them a glow. The permanent blue Violet is a really potent colour, and madder lake deep is a red I enjoy,it sits neutral,not too warm. The azzo yellow can be a bit opaque,the ultramarine blue is not granulating and the burnt sienna is made of a few more pigments then I'd like, but I tend to mix browns myself. The Payne's grey I love. Anyway... Loved this video.
