From the Fofanny Reservoir to the Tolleymore Forest, Sundance and I hike on. So many new sights to see and people to meet along the way. That’s one of the best things about hiking trails like this. It is the people you meet out enjoying this beautiful world we live in. By evening we settle in to a fine camp spot high atop the Drinns, far away from everybody else - or so we think.

It’s so interesting to hear a visitor’s view on things that we take for granted over here, it makes me look again at our landscape with fresh eyes. Thank you Huck. And I prefer Prickly Pine to Gorse so if you don’t mind I’m going to use that myself on walks here on Dartmoor where we have acres of prickly pine 😊 happy hiking to you and Sundance

Good to see you hiking through my ancestral home. My first hike and camp was in the Mournes. I dare say, Richard may not offer a Slainte, rather a "God Save the King!" Having said that, the outdoors belongs to everyone. Kilkeel and Newcastle are lovely indeed. I believe the Lady Knight disarmed Jaime Lannister on that bridge.

Love your blackfaced sheep friends and the flower closeups! Are those stone walls all original or does the state build them? Keep your feet dry!

Stone walls as field boundaries or sheep pens on farmland get maintained by the estate / farm. It’s a real craft and skill. It always staggers me in the UK how many miles of these walls we have but also where they go, I’ve seen some in Wales go literally up the side of a mountain.

So great to see the stone arch bridge and step stone crossings. How about a close up of the stone walls. They look so interesting. Shouldn't the narrator have a brogue? Get after it Huck and of course Sundance too. Jerry R.
