@6:13 you should put a metal guard/plate over that oil line that runs under the engine in case you run over something that cuts that line.

Definitely on my list. I may put an underbelly sheet for the whole engine area, but at least to protect that line.

Indeed you did! There are a few areas between the dash and chassis as well as behind the driver's seat that are very odd shaped and greatstuff was the only practical way to seal them. When I get to bodywork and paint I'll make sure it's cleaned up/covered.

@@markb5066 I'm not sure you care but,....my uncle builds off road chassis and does full restorations for people. When that GREAT STUFF gets hot,....it will simply start to crack and become a dusty mess. He found something to seal small areas such as your that actually work. TephSeal

Thanks for the tip -- I'll check it out! I used the fire resistant version so hopefully that holds up better, but I'll keep an eye on it.

@@markb5066 Yeah. It works great. It's really flexible and isn't affected by heat. No disrespect intended.
