NFL teams use sled work. They are the best athletes in the world, so if it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me. I don't need that intense of a workout, because I am not a pro athlete, though.

Yes, Last 10-15 mins of workout. Lower back injury knee problem. Sled makes me feel fantastic. I love it, I feel stronger also less pain.

Seems like the sled would help with both dragging tacklers as a ball carrier or grabbing and pulling down a ball carrier as a defensive player. Great tips. I've been working my sled for the past month or so and I can't get enough drills and ideas. Anything and everything I can figure out to do with it. Superman drags. Pulling the strap up under the armpits during a drag or pull. Overhead Triceps Pull is murder on the sled. Thanks man.

do you guys use upper/lower or a full body splits with your sports athletes???

We generally split up our weeks into 2 upper body days and 2 lower body days, with a dynamic jumping/mobility workout in between. We will mix lower body and upper body in same day, but these are on rare occasions to accommodate specific reactions in certain athletes. Thank you for the question!
