I really love this reaction. You really were open to the ride Sleep Token took you on and your knowledge of music production etc really showed. This is probably THE song that illustrates Sleep Token to the full. It's great to see how much you appreciated it. By way of a brief introduction, Sleep Token are a masked, anonymous collective of musicians said to be united by their worship of an ancient deity called “Sleep”, who appeared to the band's lead singer, Vessel, in a dream. Sleep Token has its own Lore. They were formed in 2016 in London and have released two EPs and two singles before releasing a trilogy of albums: Sundowning (2019), This Place Will Become Your Tomb (2021) and Take Me Back to Eden (2023). The song you've just reacted to here was written by Vessel. He wrote both the music and lyrics, sung all of the vocals and played all of the instruments except drums, which are played by ii). It was produced by both Carl Bown and Vessel. iii) bass and iv) guitar join the band when they perform live. Also, I'm not sure anyone has explained it yet, so I wanna add about the band. The "band" is essentially just the vocalist, Vessel, and the drummer, ii. Vessel writes lyrics, and does piano, guitars, bass, and overall composition. ii writes and does drums. When on tour, they have a bassist (iii) and guitarist (iv) who travel with them and play live, since Vessel obviously can't do everything live. They also have a backup choir that is officially unnamed, but lovingly call the Vesselettes by the fan community. I'm sure someone will comment explaining with the lore and stories surrounding the group's inception. TL;DR Vessel is the vocalist and does everything other than drums, which are done by ii.

The way you ended your video, is the same way I felt in 2019 when I heard them for the first time. I have not looked back and they have not disappointed. They are some of the most talented musicians in the game right now. The drummer in my opinion is top 3 in ALL of music. Go down the rabbit hole. Consume all of their material starting from the first 2 E.P.s, watch the progression and magical callbacks they do. They are storytellers. The way music is supposed to be.

Great reaction! One suggestion. After listening to the songs you want to make content for go back and listen from start to finish. There is call backs in this song to earlier tracks and the themes follow a pattern. Its really an experience if you let it be.

This is an excellent reaction and breakdown of the song from a musicians perspective and I enjoyed it very much! There are two members of this band that are permanent and compose and write everything, Vessel, and Vessel II. They have two touring members III, and IV, they have changed members many times. Vessel (I) writes all of the music and does the vocals, Vessel (II) writes all of the drum work and does the beats. I'd absolutely take a deep dive if I were you, this is easily my favorite band and I'd love to hear your perspective regarding them. There is no Genre bro.

As much as I like your reacts, you pause way too often especially with sleep token. You need to listen more and either wait until an appropriate time to pause a couple times or wait till the end. Sleep token pride themselves on atmosphere and the lyrics really need listening to. Anyway I’m going to paste something I put on all new sleep token reacts with info. Sleep Token are the best band I have ever come across and the recent album is definitely my AOTY! You should go down the rabbit hole now. They’re genre bending and use elements of everything from rock, metal, RnB, trap, hip hop, gospel, and more. Even if you don’t like one song don’t write them off as every song is different and as you can see from this one they switch up completely through the songs, also don’t be thrown off by some of them being 7-8 minutes long either as it goes by far too quickly. You should start at the beginning and work your way through as they tell a story and have call backs to a lot of them. The band are anonymous, I and others know who they are but won’t reveal out of respect to the band and fans but the singer goes by the moniker Vessel, drummer, who is a beast is II, bassist III and guitarist IV. From London UK. As far as their discography goes they brought out two EPs called One and Two, then 2 singles called Jaws and The Way That You Were, then the three albums Sundowning, The Place Will Become Your Tomb, then TMBTE (Take Me Back To Eden). They’ve done five covers that I’m aware of. One being Hey Ya by OutKast, I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston, Is It Really You? By Loathe and When The Party’s Over by Billie Eilish, Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. His Vocal range I believe is B ♭2 to F#5 and he has a wonderful chest voice, head voice and scream. I have never hyper fixated on a band like I have with these! Loved the react and Will subscribe and hopefully see many more. 🖤 The trilogy = Seduction. Destruction. Liberation.

Nice react but PSA in a react you don't need to pause to mention every individual sound. Most react videos are after your take on the content not the individual notes and their respective instruments.
