Jay, your audio expertise is really well demonstrated in this video. I even learned the basic tip that you can, using the Inspector, delete a previously applied effect! (Yes, I did not know that). Thanks for your Resolve audio specialty videos!

Thx! I don't know why they just can't add dry\wet curve so we can adjust fx by drawing 0-100% on timeline like it's used on any DAW like Ableton Live.
@JasonYadlovski Жыл бұрын
Most of the effects do have a wet dry mix you can automate if you wanted. I just throw part of the clip on a new track w/ just the delay and it will ring out past the end of the clip.

How did you get DaVinci resolve to do only Voice recording without adding a video ?
@JasonYadlovski Жыл бұрын
All you have to do is create a new timeline, set up your voiceover recording and record away. You don’t have to add video to the timeline.

Hi quick question... if you put a REVERB on a track and bring multiple clips there... how can we modify the reverb aspect for that track so that not all clip has the same reverb style... with automation ?
@JasonYadlovski2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can do it with automation. Or just make another track and make changes for the reverb on that new track.

Do you know why the echo effect won't translate to the timeline out of Fairlight? Works great in Fairlight but when I go back to Edit Timeline, it's not there.
@JasonYadlovski Жыл бұрын
That’s strange, it should be there and be heard. 🤔 I haven’t come across that problem before.

Hey Jason! Thanks for this tutorial. When i create the compound clip though it pinches the start of the audio waveform completely resulting in a bump in the sound. Any ideas why?
@JasonYadlovski Жыл бұрын
That's strange, shouldn't do that. Maybe make the compound clip a little longer or add a blank audio or video clip in front of what you actually want so the compound clip is bigger?
@SkullsDev2 жыл бұрын
Neat trick! Try combining reverb and chrous to see what you can do with it!

Can we Echo our voice over audio??If Yes,,,then for how many seconds Can I echo a clip?? For example:-If my clip is 30 seconds large then Can I echo with delay??Pls reply!
@JasonYadlovski Жыл бұрын
Yes you can. To do it I would create a new track, put your echo effect on the track. Then take whatever clips you want to Echo and move them onto the track. Just your echo setting so that it will Echo as long as you want. If you want to see me demonstrate how to do it, I’m sure to watch ResolveCon 2023 coming up next week. 😜
