This guy has a forest for a backyard ,installed his own pull up bars out of tree trunks, can do a slow muscle up, and can do it with his shirt on. A Winner if I ever saw.

That looks good man, thanks. Can't try it right now as tendonitis is hurting a bit at the inside of my elbow. Been trying to rebuild me pull up strength (used to do 20+, 10+ years ago), but I think I tried too much too soon and it hurts. But your tip really looks useful. I guess if the the bar is slippery enough, one can start the pull up with the normal grip and as soon as the bar reaches the chest with some momentum then rotate the wrist to the grip demonstrated here. Can't wait to try!

@jrk987 you can do the muscle up fast or slow. if you do it fast, you can use momentum to get on top of the bar and you don't have to use the grip i showed in the video. if you do it slow though you have to change your grip first, and then pull yourself up. you can't change the grip of both hands at the same time. in the beginning of the video i've already gripped the bar the right way so i don't have to change, later i'm showing how to change the grip if your already hanging on the bar.
