as a miata owner, check the far back 4th cylinder pressure.. it has a tendency of being very low pressure due to it pretty much blowing up because of overheating due to hardly any coolant lines going to the back of the motor for the forth cylinder. Flyin Miata offers some pretty cool reroute kits and is definitely worth checking out and installing.

I’m buying a forged turbo NB Miata with 250hp and holy cow it’s fast. I have a NA and it’s super slow but 250hp makes it feel like a super car since it’s agile and quick. I can’t wait to pick it up within the next couple weeks.

I'd add from personal experience to check the radiator cap, and do a rudimentary test for burnt valves. If the cooling system isn't properly pressurized, due to a bad radiator cap or otherwise, the cooling system won't run efficiently. The first cylinder to be effected by this on the NA/NB Miata will almost always be the third cylinder, due to the first two still receiving okay cooling and the fourth being close to the heater core. Given enough time, this can lead to burnt exhaust valves. Aside from making sure the rad cap looks good, you can also do the trick of putting a dollar bill up to the exhaust. If the bill flaps inwards and outwards, or gets sucked in towards the exhaust, be wary.

For $6000 a decent used Miata and $4000 in some aftermarket upgrades, you have a focused track weapon or weekend canyon carver that can match the handling of just about any vehicle at ten times the cost. And they’re just plain fun to drive. That’s why I have two, NA & ND👍🏼.

Is it any good... well a few days ago I bought back the miata I sold a couple of years ago so in my opinion I think so.

Very nice video! Where did you find all those prototype photos?, Also the photo of the "naked" subframes/engine picture! I want to frame that and hang it on my wall :)

there's also that lifter tick that seems to be common on most miatas put some Marvel Mystery Oil in there, do some highway driving, and hope it goes away

I have a question, is the replacement for the timing belts every 60-90K miles or just one time?
@UsefulVids4 жыл бұрын
Yes, every 60k-90k miles, although some people run the belts longer.

Are automatic miata worth it?

I would rather have the manual transmission, but some may like not shifting gears. I believe there is more demand for the manual...

I've always loved these cars as well people because they are just so cool and no they are definitely not chick cars because mostly women buy them but if takes a real man to drive the car how it's meant to be driven and that's exactly what the ladies don't do
