(I know that's not a good source for legit leaks but sometimes you get a few nuggets in a mountain of dirt.)

Infinite Monkeys would be closer to all "leaks" being guesses, with enough people guessing that eventually someone gets it right. 7 Blind Men implies the leakers actually have information.

@@BeaglzRok1 Ahh I see what you're going for. But by that logic one of those monkey's actually gets everything right in their guess according to the odds. They're not good odds but at some point one of them does get it right. The only thing I'm saying is that so far the guessing is right with what we've gotten. I think it's worth keeping an eye on, that doesn't mean it's 100% real, but it's gotten enough right to stay on the radar.

Okay i want to put in a little comment on the Ace Attorney alt talk at around 31:00. Yes Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings each have their own name and voice lines, etc. But lets not forget Minecraft has Steve, Alex, Zombie, and Enderman. For Pheonix he can have a couple of alt colors and then the last alt slots are used for Miles and Apollo.

Just thought about something. when it comes to the playful statement, obviously he shouldn't know BUT I can think of 1 way he would know. if it is related to pack 11, aka if its Phoenix. I could see him knowing about them planning to do an objection message while Sakurai is saying this is it. this might be a tad reaching but I feel like its worth noting as a possibility

New Color Theory (which postulates that CP11 will be able to have a shade of purple/pink) supports this. Phoenix Wright's tie is pretty consistently China pink.

I have doubts the the character will be revelled in 3 months because In the presentation Sakurai specifically said it will be a while until the next character coms out and I’m not aware of him ever saying that before.

Well to be fair, few leaks are ever correct. Still, I like the idea that he lists companies that he knows of instead of saying "these are all of them" because it still gives hope that there are other companies involved just like it did with Bozon for Shantae.

I think its fake. The Grinch leak showcases that no matter how “real” a leak feels, it can be ultra BS. Don’t get me started on how vague this is and how there are so many lucky guesses. I can do the same by tossing 100+ characters and companies. By proxy I’ll probably get something right.

So far none of the guesses are wrong and they do fit. It's vague I agree but there's a lot of lucky guesses and even knowing about the supposed bonus character that the Smash website kind of hinted. I mean it could still turn out to be wrong no doubt but so far there haven't been any wrong guesses, that's why I feel like this leak is worth keeping an eye on. Doesn't mean it's real, but it's worth noting for now.

I have a feeling that the next direct and likely smash reveal is in October since we have a very small list of games coming out by then.

My theory is based on a company pattern. There are only 3 character slots that were used for 3rd parties as of now. Sakurai planned at least 2 characters he wanted in, Joker and Terry. Square Enix filled 3 slots, with Hero and Sephiroth. Microsoft got 2 of their most wanted characters out, who have a history with Nintendo. Next up are the final thanks to developers who helped Nintendo on their franshises, Namco and Koei Tecmo. With Kazuya filling Namco's slot Koei Tecmo made Fire Emblem 3 Houses, and Hyrule Warriors games, so as a guess it could be. Ryu Hayabusa Ryza, or other Atelier characters. A Warriors game character.

It gets crazier. Someone datamined to try to find a clue who the last character would be. Before there was still four dummy slots available for DLC fighters. They found more up to a dozen.

Mario Maker has different rules for who can cameo in that game. Smashes only consistent rule is video game characters only, I don't even think they'll get Mii costumes.

Regarding Epic being mentioned in the leak, Smash fans never seem to give out legit reasons why they don't want Fortnite represented in Smash other than "Fortnite cringe." The series meets all the criterias needs to get into Smash, with the only obstacle against it is how it'll require the same amount of time needed to get Steve to work due to sharing a similar gimmick.

The only reason I don't like it is because pretty much every third party franchise represented is long-standing and legendary. If Fortnite is still genuinely popular by the time the next Smash comes out, then sure we can talk about it. But it's only a few years old at this point. There are about a hundred third party franchises that should be represented before Fortnite in my opinion for this reason. Look at the other third parties in Smash. You honestly think Fortnite belongs in the same list as Sonic, MGS, Pac-Man, Street Fighter? Let Fortnite actually become a legendary franchise first, then it'll be a lot cooler when/if it gets eventually added to the game.

No, the reason is because Fortnite never hit its stride until after smash was already fully decided. It's not a coincidence that all of pass 2 is characters that predate 2018.

@@jonathansaraco Pokemon was only 3 years old when Pikachu and Jigglypuff were added into Smash 64's roster, and people still thought it was only a fad. Franchises having a long-standing legacy isn't an official criteria on who can get into Smash.

@@raphaelmarquez9650 I specifically said third party franchises. Obviously first party abides by completely different rules. Roy wasn't in an actual game yet before he was put into Melee. Every single THIRD PARTY franchise represented with a character is long-standing. Sakurai has said there is no "official criteria", so obviously I could end up being completely wrong. But until that pattern gets broken, I'm going to assume that Nintendo will not consider characters from a third party franchise that hasn't proven itself over time. Like who the hell asked for Terry? Nobody. Didn't stop Sakurai from wanting to represent KoF, a legendary fighting game franchise.

I think it makes sense that he wouldn’t know about a third party character 100% but know a first party 100%. However, the whole “The last reveal will say don’t be surprised if more content is dropped” either the wording and he’s merely saying that it’ll reveal it-or he’s saying he knows what’ll be said, as if it’s already made. Things are really going for him...however things are going against. I would love Phoenix, speaking as someone who’s never played an Ace Attorney game. I just love the unconventional picks. Also...a fortnite guy 😂, sounds credible.

I never trust any leaks, Capcom would just do more mii costumes for the last fighter and someone from a different company would have their character as a fighter. Once again, Sakurai has reaffirmed himself that he's only doing challenger pack 11, there will be no fighter pass. Also, why are people still hoping for a bonus fighter? There's no way that'll happen.

Protagonist is not dictated by hero or villain! The protagonist of something is the main character or focus of a story! Think about who the protagonist of American psycho is? Is he a good guy? No Patrick Bateman is a villain but he is still the protagonist! Thanos is the protagonist of Infinity War etc etc

@@cjszero01 When he reiterates multiple times over the scope of the pass that this is the end, there's very little reason to believe he's "trolling". After Terry's reveal they said "more was coming", which was very strategic to show that there's more on the way right before the end, as opposed to at the end. He's not trolling; this really is the end. Get a grip.

@@cjszero01 If you could just deflect everything Sakurai says as "he's trolling", there'd be zero point to speculating what's happening, because then we'd be getting something like Goku. You can't just say "he's trolling" when he's reiterated multiple times throughout the pass that it's the end. And I strongly doubt he'd even go so far as to keep up a lie like that so consistently just to be like "surprise! it's not the end, I'm doing it for two more years!" He's not lying, it really is the end, and "Rapper Mario" was way too vague to even predict a single thing.

So what would you say if we did get that potential bonus character that we even found subjective evidence for? This leak was posted before we found that error on the Smash site. You don't think he'd try to surprise with one more even after he says "The next one is the last one"? People in game development and entertainment will lie to you to hide things so they aren't spoiled. He has been known to go the extra mile such Lucina, Dr. Mario, and Dark Pit in 3DS and WiiU who were put in because they had extra time. You don't know he's not lying, they might just add spirits after the Fighter's Pass 2, and Rapper Mario did get the Dante and Monster Hunter costumes correct. You want to believe this is it for the DLC? That's fine, it's fair to understand that after what he's said. But I wouldn't be surprised if something else happened. And if nothing else does? Oh well. People told me Ridley, King K. Rool, and Banjo wouldn't get in. I haven't heard from them since they did.

Is this leak 100% real? No, because honestly we won't know until the whole DLC is over and this all happened. I just think it's worth keeping an eye on because it hasn't gotten anything wrong, got a number of things right, but it does have some red flags.
