I pulled a curtain side trailer from 2000 to 2005 and the company let me put a bike rack I made on the front of the trailer. I bought an old 10 speed bike to carry along with me. In the evenings, I would get the bike down and go for a ride. Good way to relax and get a little exercise!

Hi Mark. Another idea to maybe save room. Move your pogo out and then pre-mount the bike rack to your mount. Then face your mount towards the bunk. if there is enough room, you might even be able to mount the receiver part of the mount under the bunk to save a little more room. you could potentially save 8-12 inches of space if you can get the receiver under the bunk in the gap. Might have to curve the bars down to clear, but that would save a ton of space.

Good looking out and bringing a bit of awareness to truckers or anyone else regarding a proper diet. All that processed shit is designed to keep us sick. I think E-bikes are a great idea for truckers. They sacrifice so much but health shouldn't be one of them. Cheers!

The mountain on the back of the frames is pretty good idea for those e bikes. When you have the trailer on, but when you don't have the Trailer on maybe a receiver hitch on the back of the truck.

Wow! I found snowman, I was driving a dump truck in the Indianapolis area in the mid 80’s and this truck and trailer was at a garage for the longest time. Always wanted to stop and look at the truck, but I was always in a hurry to dump that next load. Neat to see it again, glad it’s still running and turning heads. Thanks for the video.

@majobis5 ай бұрын
If you wanted to you can put a receiver hitch on the front of the trailer so it should not interfere with the air hose tree. But other truckers may not have that option if they are swapping trailers a lot. City busses have the racks on the front of the bus with a simple swing arm to go over the tire to secure it and those racks fold when not in use. As I am thinking here there seems to be a few solutions that would work for a trucker to use.

Does Mrs Twinsticks know how lucky she is to get such a wonderful ride in an old KW 900? Well deserved first prize at the truck show last year. That said, back in the 1980s, I took my wife - who also has a Class 1, but really was a homemaker looking after our kids at the time - on an extended 'date' hauling explosives from Kimberley to Yellowknife. She actually earned money on this trip because you needed to run team on explosives. She did good, running Peace River hill, for example, something which was quite new for her as she had not done a lot of hills before. That bike needs fenders, Mark. Otherwise, if it rains, the trucker gets a really wet a..

Great idea and concept for truckers and the mount is great but is it possible for the mount to rotate so the bikes are vertical and raise up towards the cab? Some of our friendly neighborhood law enforcement agencies may not like the way it's currently mounted. And for some of us company guys with overzealous safety departments might be a better option. Vertical lock in place for wheels and mount assembly
