Snake exercises are really good to help build leg strength and more flexibility in hip joints and lower spine. Kevin likes to introduce these a couple of classes before he teaches move 75 "Creeping Low Like A Snake".
When doing the move "Creeping Low Like A Snake", be careful not to slide your foot out too far. You want to have a nice relaxed transition so you can transfer the weight from the back leg into the front leg and push up nice and gentle.
