@@kbj1-f2s New game then custom scenario if I recall correctly. You can then choose any mod maps you have installed and enabled.

This is pretty much what I was hoping for with season 4: roads that are challenging because of how narrow, bumpy and twisty they are, rather than how muddy or snowy they are; a huge variation in elevation; a color pallette what isn`t dominated by the color white: and roads that seem like they could be driven on with highway trucks without getting stuck every 3 seconds... I`m definately installing this map, and I low key hope the creator expands it into a multiple map region...

Tried it too. It is well made, but I did abandon it after completing about 70 percent. Reason being the very long allways same road/track to go around, which got boring after sometime. But as I said it is well made and for those who like it: have fun.

Cactus fries and prickly pear sauce is a thing in Arizona, we also have rattlesnake chips as a delicacy and the summer monsoons can cause some real damage. Thanks for bringing this map to my attention.

Cool video, I really enjoy Red Canyon because it is an absolute pain in the ass. I also wanted to throw this out there, of all the trucks out there including mods I found that on this map the Tayga has once again proven to be King.

Great review, as always! I finished this awesome map awhile back, with the exception of the "Nevermind" task (which I never could find). I only discovered it while trying to figure out why it was only 98% with everything completed. It's listed under "Tasks" on the status page, but doesn't appear anywhere in the game menus.

Yeah it only exists to make the map work in some way, you can't find and complete it. A few people asked about it on the Red Canyon mod.io page so don't worry, you finished it all!

Will have to get that downloaded, looks very impressive! I know it goes against the name of the game but it would make a nice change of scenery for sure. I like the idea of the cliff edge tracks, they will need some careful navigation rather than bombing along a track as quick as poss. I liked the bit where you drove to the edge of the canyon and then backed off like 'nah, maybe not!' Cheers, all the best 👍

To me its sounds normal but maybe to our west europen and US frens the cold soup caled ''tarator'' from Bulgaria may seem strange at first. Its yoghurt diluted with some water, cucumber, sunflower oil, dill and salt. And im still not satisfied with the flip you atempted.

I felt really bored with this map which was a shame as it looks amazing! Too much back and forth in straight lines for me

There is a lot of straight road action around the garage, you're right.

The visual design of the map is almost great. Almost, because the author forgot to put out of map scenery. And in many cases you pass the edge of the map and see empty abbeys just cut to nowhere. The things that the author of the map really failed - logistic gameplay design. Look, you have to bring over 20 wooden planks almost across all the map around. The same way again and again. You cannot use 8u semi trailer and do it in 3 shots - it just won't pass that steep inclines. So you are limited to 4u truck + trailer. This means over 5 trips the same road there and back again. One tip over (and it is very easy with vanilla trucks because the CG is all wrong) and repeat the whole trip again and again. It is deadly boring. It could be less boring if the author made some progress and different routes. Like build a bridge - it will open better easier different route. But that is the thing he/she didn't do. Whatever bridges you build - they are just useless. Most of the cases they don't do you life even a bit easier. For safety you still have to take the same old long route around the whole map. I tried to contact the author, but he just refused any criticism. This means his boring design will never be fixed.
