Henk do the song for Floor, he stepped out of his comfort zone to try something new. And now in 2021 he is on stage with Floor in the Netherlands and sing with her🤘🤘🤘. It‘s on youtube🤫😉.

Noone was, will or would sing that song better than Henk.Period.Just two hour to gain the ability to master the distorted voice,WITHOUT previous education? When singers with years under their belts,STILL can't do it right?Mr.Henk,by the words of A.L.W (you all know who he is,c-mon!) was the best and his preferred Phantom of the Opera ever. And who am I to say it to the man?Last, but not least...the totally in love gaze of Floor...I mean,c'mon, just look at her!We all have Floorgasms,I know, fellow perverts. But seeing Floor having a Henkorgasm?Priceless!

I like everything about this reaction of yours. Not preachy at all. Heartfelt! About that stage fright of yours.. Here's someone who shares that with you: Arjen Anthony Lucassen from the Netherlands. I'd recommend "The Day That The World Breaks Down" or perhaps "Everybody Dies (live)". It's another world to discover besides Nightwish & Floor and I reckon that when you choose to take that path you'll see one or two familiar faces along that wonderful ride. Enjoy! Cheers from Amsterdam.

I gave your video a like, not so much because of Henk Poorts' emotional execution of one of the most brilliant songs ever written. No, because of you Shadow Ryu. You explained so well what songs stand for and why they are as important as they are. Music has the power to connect, no matter where or with who you are. Thanks for the insight, man. ❤

There are so many channels like this one . 99% of these channels give fake reactions. You are real man. Big up. Keep on doing this.

when this show was recorded he was 63 years of age. he was noted as operasinger and floor off course metalartist. so that's why he choose this version. critics here were wondering if he forgot it was a simon and. garfunkel song. but hey , he sings it for a metalartist. he really stept far out of his comfortzone by doing this. in 2018 operasinger (mezzosoprano) MARIA FISELIER was on the show. she did LOSE YOURSELF from EMINEM. try it , she will blow you away.

I liked what you said about the quintessence of a song: a story told with emotion. This rendition was a fine example. When I hear a singer or a musician with great technical skils but no emotional connection to the song they're performing, it doesn't work for me. Your thoughts about the line "songs that voices never shared" are very inspiring. People, open up your eyes and make sure that all voices and songs are being heard. You say that you have a stage fright, but in this video I saw a powerful motivational speaker ;-) Keep you reactions coming, I'm looking forward to hearing more from you!

People writing songs that voices never share.... The whole idea of this show is to share. A song is a story that we tell with emotion, passion and from the heart.... You have to watch all Floors performances in this show. They will meet your criteria.

Do not be sorry. This was just the kind of thought I (at least I) want to find in these reaction videos. This kind of thinking and its processing reaches out to each other on social media. This creates dialogue. For myself as a child and teenager, the music of Simon and Garfunkel was an important musical background sound. Before I got excited about other genres of music. Simon and Garfunkel made me listen to the lyrics of the songs in a different way. I even found Dylan with their help. Equally, any song can be really significant to numerous people. And in different ways .... 👍

Not sure why people are always compelled to rank different renditions of great songs, but I think all three versions are fantastic. I guess the Simon and Garfunkel version will always hold a special place in my heart, since when I first heard it as a young boy, I found it especially comforting.

I wasn't trying to rank them. Each of the 3 major versions(S&G, Disturbed, Henk Poort) all have their own beauty and place for their time. It took me almost 2 years after disturbed released their version because i pre-judged their version thinking they would slaughter S&G's version. I was proved wrong very quickly, and learned very quick not to judge prematurely

Nice reactions; just watch your earlier Nightwish / Floor reactions, Good job. Yes Henk is really good, long career behind in Netherlands, Germany and Italy. He has done opera, operetta, musicals and also movies. In this same TV show he did also other duet with Emma Heesters, song was Italian song "Vivo Per Lei". Original song was by Andrea Bocelli. Henk and Emma made really good work with it. Want to try i? Here is link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/habQi6F6lrZ8hNE
