The reason why I watch these type of podcasts is because I have death anxiety and I really don't know how to stop thinking of that. Can you make a video about this subject?

Really nice to hear someone researching aging who wants to double it and _then_ say, ok now we really have something and we're not just getting a few years here or there. Although, after you cross 70, every little extra bit is welcome!

Against sarcopenia, you could do cyclical protein restriction: on some days restrict, and others do not.

I find senolytic drugs/phytochemicals extremely interesting. It would be interesting if more attention was paid to this approach. I would also like to point out that probably the action of substances that have an effect on longevity and health is influenced by context. For example, leucine (and BCAA I guess) has a completely opposite effect when administered while insulin levels are low/high. My guess is that this is a general fact.

Maybe the issue is that the geneticists are only looking under the DNA lamp and that is not where we will find anti-aging interventions. Maybe they should be also be interested in the work of people like Alfonso Martinez Arias who is leading developmental biologist argues that cells, not DNA, hold the key to understanding history, present, and future of life.

May I respectfully suggest to Dr. Kaeberlein that he please make up his mind as to whether he is the interviewer or the interviewee? The frequent interruptions of the interviewee's flow of speech, and the constant directing and "supplementing" of his comments are incredibly irritating. It also makes you much harder to like. Which, considering that you're trying to educate and influence the public discourse here, is quite important.

Cause We don't have the knowledge required, still, now we're at most 30% knowledege, we need a passing grade over 70 w computers, AI, future real AI, Science, we'll move magnitudes better on ever shorter times Maybe in 30 years, hope I last till.

Because of AI I think you can't even put a number on it quite. And there should things on the way to get you there now. In the meantime, it's the gym, the kitchen, the sun, relationships, caloric restriction etc..
