Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

that thing at 10:00 blew my mind.. that's the most amazing vehicle i've ever seen in trailmakers. Also i'm bummed that the anakin podracer i made a few years back don't work with current game physics, its a relic of the past and only exsists as a video on my channel now. we really need some rope mechanic in trailmakers to make some proper cables for podracers for sure.

(In atmosphere). Disney canon: It is a fecal matter hoarder, which was (for some reason) equipped with a harpoon for the dorsal gunner, and two forward facing fixed laser canon.

@@DarktideVtuber When the "exhaust" of a hoverpad is obstructed, by blocks or another hoverad, it will generate lift. Commonly known as "UFO-engine glitch". Devs have stated that the "glitch" is so popular and opens many new possibilities, so therefor they have no intention of removing it.

Hey, I got a creation on Scrapman! Thank you very much. The reason the Hover Abrams has the chair lift/lowering controls is for the first person view. You can look out a tiny port above the gun barrel while it's down, or raise it up for the typical tank commander view. Anyway thanks for the showcase!

The Hover Abrams was my favorite, but dang some of those hovercrafts use logic in Trailmakers that I have no hope of understanding, and I have 718.8 hours in the game.

The unusal hover craft for high speed over rough terrain cries lout for a gun and then being used in a multiplayer monday fight. With that kind of flying, it is for sure a lot of fun and a guarantee for good laughs.

I myself have been playing it a lot recently and attained a large airship capable of showering enemies in limitless destruction, missiles, lasers, cannons, you name it, I got it. Shielding and repairing complete with a toggle and all premade in creative ready to spawn in with the right resources

Hey scrapman! In multiplayer Monday, you are making challenges for other two but how about making a boss battle type challenge where you are the boss with 4 times the more power (guns or engine) than others. Then they fight you with a 2 v 1 battle

You can use the hover glitch along with using the hover pad’s single control to turn it off, in combination you can make any type of movement, wether rotation or strafing.

The pod is the area in which the racer sits in. The propulsion mechanisms are called “pod racer engines” because of their unique method of propulsion… unique to the Star Wars universe. We’re familiar with them, it’s jet engines.

The hover speeder is being forced to use the aerodynamic effect known as Ground Effect. Effectively it's fighting extra lift from the increased air pressure underneath it with the down thusters, so you can hover/fly over basically any terrain. Some clever tech indeed.

The pod in a pod racer is where the diver/racer conrols the craft, ie in this case the thing in the back. The things your referring to as pods are called racing engines........ Thats it no joke. I mean they have individuals names like Sebulba's are Collor Pondrat Plug-F Mammoth racing engines. And Anakin's (the one you used in this video) are Radon-Ulzer 620C racing engines. Note: no I'm not that big of a star wars nut. I to was curious as to what the "engines" where called as I *heard* power coupling in the movie, but didn't want to get it wrong so I looked up a pod racer diagram for info on it.

My favorite was definitely the hover speeder, with the wedge directed one being the 2nd due to #wedgegang. And half way through the video was an advertisement of a hover miner, which is a coincidence and I want you (Scrapman) or anyone to build a hover miner. Most likely in scrap mechanic, as it actually has mineables, but it would be cool too in other games. :)

So, technically since it was the low altitude hover model, that was a Snowspeeder rather than an Airspeeder (semantic really, since the one is just a mod of the other) but the main issue I see is that it's far too narrow overall and too tall in the center
