These two are from my hometown, and after moving overseas for college, this album means so much to me, especially 24 Hr Drive-Thru. Whenever I'm feeling homesick and depressed, that song is my personal cure. (Fun fact: "Kenilworth Avenue to 193" is actually the route to the local McDonald's!) It always makes me happy to think that so many other people love this band from my random DC suburb.

Great video, I only discovered Gami this year at 2000 Trees festival when they were doing a UK tour. I went to see them having heard the great reviews from their shows with Prince Daddy and was absolutely blown away. First thing I did when I left the festival and got some signal on my drive home was was play Somewhere City.

Ever since this video dropped 9 months ago, I've been listening to somewhere city for quite some time over and over. I always comeback to the album because of the story or meaning behind the entire album addiontally, the vocals are very raw and touching which is why I also comeback to the album. When I first saw this video I was able to relate and understand the story. This video motivated me to listen to the album with an open mind because of Etennie's dedication to go in depth towards "somewhere city." The detailed analysis, description, and interpretation was a good way to convince me to listen to "somewhere city" This is also my first time to listening to the "emo" genre that is kinda more leanient on the positive side. If Etennie were to make a similar video on a different song album or genre, I would definietly listen to it on loop just like "somewhere city"

I found out about Origami Angel thanks to Good Kid's short recommendation shortly after they released Mimi's Delivery Service. Title Track being my favorite song of all. It is a great song, and it grow a lot in me, alongside Brightest Day. And as someone who is very shy, closed and insecure with my few friendships, I both can relate to some of the songs and inspire me to be more outgoing with my friends. It is a struggle,as my hobbies are uncommon for most people of my age and country's culture, but I try bit by bit.

One thing I wish you mentioned was how in The Air Up Here, after the overwhelming vocals the line that stands out before the breakdown was "I feel so lost" instead of " _when_ I feel so lost" and that one word difference has so much importance cuz it's like, at the start of the album he says how when he feels so lost he wants to go to Somewhere City, but at the end when he did arrive, he starts to realize he feels lost after arrivig in the city and it kind of makes a paradox between him going to Somewhere City because he feels lost, but then being there also makes him feel lost, so... where would he go?

It's a small thing but I believe Origami Angel is from Greenbelt, MD. I know it's super close to DC but we Marylanders need to get credit for the few bands we actually have. A lot of the specifics in their songs are about spots in Greenbelt and PG County, like Kenilworth Ave. and 193.
