If I had a nickel for every time there was a sonic fan game called sonic overdrive with a humongous amount of style I would have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened twice.

Another Sonic Overdrive?! The style is pretty cool, but the movement looks kinda choppy. But what is here is really cool, now that I think about it, it’s so weird that we never got a PS1 Sonic game, but I guess it’s cause the Dreamcast was out at the time. Either way pretty excited for what can happen! 4:08 not presented by SEGA 😭 4:56 Sonic Storm, the one you said needed some work, which is understandable

the choppy movement might be on purpose, as thats how animations were back then sometimes

the animations are choppy, not the movement. the movement is smooth.

Early 3d didn't have biped movemnt, Biped is basically used to rig a 3d model and pose it smoothly. Early 3d games like qauke would have frame based 3d animatoin. Interpolation is what makes 3d animations smooth. Look up the original Quake and you'll see choppy animation. Its like that because interpolation wasn't inveted yet at the time.

@@welcomebackkyle. that’s a possibility, but I only said it cause Sonic Storm was styled the same way but it feels a little smoother, even for a Roblox game there should at least a little bit of smoothness, all in all though it’s fine, just looks a bit weird, came a long way from PS1 and PS2 days

Surprisingly the only huge issue is the light speed dash which isn’t working perfectly yet, but otherwise it feels VERY good! Definitely worth a try Yeah definitely a Dreamcast thing, then when we got a PS2 Sonic game (unleashed specifically) it was uhhh not trying to do that much visually Love that lmaooo small details like that get me all the time THATS RIGHT, definitely excited to see what their new update is cause I’ve heard it’s gonna be a HUGE overhaul and I’m VERY excited to see that Appreciate the comment as always man, much love 🙌🙌

There is a newer version of Sonic Overdrive on Dreams for the PS4/PS5 that is currently getting updates and support from the devs. The graphics of it are a lot higher and it plays differently to this one, so maybe you can try it out if you have a Playstation.

Fans put more consistant sauce on sonic than sega to me XD! They not protected by my criticsm tho! But like, roblox fan games, Sonic Triple Trouble 16 bit being the sonic 4 for me, Project 06 taking my heart away, these peps is talented i swear!! Yo, do you do any post processing on your audio, or is this the raw audio from your mic?

@@AquaVerve lots of post processing! EQ, compressor, and noise gate in premiere pro. If you don’t want to do that audio editing in post, take a look at reaper-eq as an OBS plugin and you could record while your PC processes the audio and just have that baked into an MP4

PC, apparently there’s some weird FPS caps or something, so I’ve gotten a few friends to play with me and we all have the same FPS problems on really good PCs. Must just be a roblox thing

Currently I’m just trying to upload Sonic content every other day and whatever else I play will be uploaded in between that. If I miss a day I’ll just start uploading again from the day I get back on the grind, so it’ll flip-flop here and there
