Looking back on it, throughout all the demos I played of GT I have so much experience when it comes to playing it xD. This was truely awesome to see GT completed. There's a ton of things to do after the story mode, so you can expect to see more videos of Sonic GT in the near future.

The physics and momentum feel amazing. This is the most perfect level design I've ever seen. It's size and layout is perfect for sonics abilities and the aesthetics are beautiful. I like how the enemies attack you. Engaging but not inconvenient. This one is well done

not really. the stages can feel a little empty with no sense of direction for a new playing. and it focuses too much on momentum that u can skip chunks without any skill. it has some good concepts, but its the same repetitive layout that alot of fangames have. i think robo blast 2 does a better job it just doesnt do much with it imo. im not calling it bad since it has its charms and the concepts could work. but probably as a competitive racing game

I liked it too. Sonic have a really op movimentation, but the stages compensate for that by being really big and having differente choices of paths to be taken without being too obvious. It gives good vibes of exploration and racing

At max speed Sonic straight up runs at the speed of sound He can legitimately reach mach 1 I can tell because I basically just converted the max speed in this game (being 343m/s) into mph and it became 767.269mph Nice one with the accuracy

Yeah right? I wish more sonic games featured a speed Guage to show how fast he is actually going. This is also why I like the boost gameplay style, it actually shows sonic break the sound barrier, sound effect of a Sonic Boom and all. But I really love how this game plays, momentum based has been how sonic gained speed in the old games, and how it's been translated into 3D here is just phenomenal.

I dunno… the floatiness seems so high that Sonic just glides over 3/4 of the level when at max speed. It’s like moving along the ground and navigating intricate corridors is anathema to fast-paced 3D movement? Careful timing and platforming are critical to the Sonic formula; this kind of short-circuit allowing players to skip most of the intricate bits robs players of feelings of accomplishment at finding optimal paths at max speed. There is no better feeling than blasting at max speed through your favorite optimized path through your favorite level. This game… doesn’t have that.

I DO like that the homing attack doesn’t blast Sonic directly to its locked-on target, just accelerates him in that direction. Makes that part of the gameplay less finicky.

Honestly, my only compain is in the sound mixing. I feel like it could have been mixed much better in some areas, espcially in the last boss of the game. I also am not a fan of some of the tracks, but that's just my opinion. Other then that...Holy shit this is one of the best Sonic Fan games created in a long time.

yeah actually the sound mixing is pretty bad. In the game I changed some audio settings to try to make it sound better, but some voices are just louder then others, and it's wack. The default settings had the voices way to loud and music needs to be louder in certain stages.

Voice acting overall is pretty goddamn obnoxious and tries way too hard to be funny. As for gameplay, it's a bunch of empty wastelands with slopes and rails, and the physics are still the same janky, floaty garbage I've seen from the Infinity Engine. One of the best Sonic fangames my ass.

After that, Boosting in Sonic games became bad because the level design was bland and uninspiring, giving super large stages with no bostacles for Sonic to boost without any consequence. Most fan games suffer from this problem.

Gameplay looks pretty awesome. Looks like there's tons of avenues to explore in each level, which is exactly the kind of refreshment we need. Voice acting was up in some parts and down in others. Like it was great when tails was being sarcastic but then there's moments like the first exchange between mighty and ray. Story was acceptable as far as plot goes, but jesus did it become more edgy as it went on. It went from eggman wanting to dissect mighty, to sonic wishing shadow was dead, to "Kick his ass." But overall I enjoyed watching.

Wow, Shadow's diction/vernacular is extremely (well, much more)... *_Sophisticated._* Also, *_INfAnTiLe._* I have to say, the characters are characterized pretty well! The story is straightforward, but pretty neat! Shadow was a bit of a shocker, primarily because of his more _expansive_ vocabulary, lol. Overall, this game is absolutely amazing. Watching it grow has been a very enjoyable experience! Splendid work, Greedy!

This game feel like the remake for Spyro. Nicely polish and grabbed some new mechanics. There is a sense of freedom to this game. The camera that almost pendulums behind you wrapping part of the ground around you reminds me of Sonic Utopia and it's a great aspect to the game. It helps !

These guys have the right idea down, which Sega fails to do. I would suggest an arrow just if your going the wrong way like most racing games. I'm just seeing this so this game is prolly done but the enemies should have some type of binding skills or vacuum that can slow sonic down, more traps that can set sonic up for failure not just the mini bosses, cause you would just zip thru stages with out it being a challenge. Heat seeking missiles like in spider man games where the target locks on. This was excellent I hope you guys continue to work on this and show Sega how it's done. There's a lot room for improvement.

Having just played up to the (what I assume is) the final boss, the hard boiled egg thingy (I've died so many times on that thing that I just ragequit lol, I'll try again later) I have to say this is probably one of my new favorite Sonic fan games up to date. A fun and fast game with momentum-based speed as opposed to boost, the way the speed works in this game actually strongly reminds me of Sonic Advance, especially as at top speed Sonic will have after images come out of him. Sonic just feels so fast in this, but keep in mind that this is not boost-to-win gameplay, so if you run into an enemy, you will have your momentum broken. Having said that, this isn't a "go fast to win" kind of game either. I feel like the enemy placements in some areas are purposely done to keep you on your toes and be prepared to fight to keep your momentum, and I love it! And if that's not enough you actually have enemies that can keep up with your speed and start chasing you down until they either hit you, or you hit them, which is a nice change of pace! Haven't seen something like this since Speed Highway and its Generations remake! Speaking of stages, huge, open zones with endless possibilities (pun intended) for traversal, engaging enemies and a familiar yet modern setting in each stage! I was honestly shocked at how well these stages were done! Don't get me wrong, lots of Sonic fan games have amazing stages and all, but this one just stood out to me. I was also shocked at the voiced "cutscenes"! A super pleasant surprise! Ngl tho, I'mmmm not really big on Shadow's voice. No offense to the voice actor, he gave it his all, but it's just not my kind of Shadow voice. But Sonic, Tails and Eggman are spot on! Can't speak for Mighty and Ray since I don't think we ever had actual voices for them, so hey, as far as I'm concerned, these voices are fitting! Now the game might be short (unless the boiled egg thingie that I keep dying against isn't the final boss and there's still lots to do after that) but it's fun, and that's the most important thing! It's fun, it's addictive, it's challenging in some aspects, and there's definitely the sense that you have to spend some time to master the way that this game plays, in order to get really good at it! Technical side of things now, I haven't really found any bugs or glitches in the game, however I do have to mention that the homing attack doesn't always work for me, sometimes it won't lock on, especially on strings and item boxes, but sometimes even on enemies it won't lock on. And sometimes in "cutscenes" the next character's dialogue will cut in before the current dialogue is finished. Also Sonic's irises keep sliding up into his head. But this might be only a problem on my part. But other than that, this game is really good IMO and shows that the Adventure Style format can be successfully updated into something new and fitting for today's standards! I hope to see more from the creators of this game and from this engine! I had fun! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go get my ass handed to me by that boss fight again.

Hey! I need some help, my pc runs the game at 60fps everytime, so i CAN play, but i cant see almost all the tons of green in levels like hill top or seaside hill, is just black, and i cant see anything, can you help?

Currently been trying to complete all the challenges on this, and even though the final Eggman race is *killing me*, the whole experience was a lot of fun Gameplay wise it's a ton of fun when you get used to it and choose a character to your liking (mine being mighty) it's a little awkward when reaching edges but other than that flying through levels is so satisfying, especially when you get that S rank at the end My only complaint would be the writing, it felt a little... Rough? Grammer is weird at times but my main focus is how cold hearted Sonic is. He complains often and has a weird hatred to Shadow, he felt really out of character when he talked about how he preferred Shadow dead and was tempted to leave Ray *just* to prevent even talking to Shadow. I dunno, Sonic just didn't seem right here Other than that though, the main game itself is up there with some of the other great games. I just wished it had more levels!

I agree. Sonic felt REALLY out of character there. Sonic is the kind of guy who, even if he’s snarky as all hell, still cares about his friends. He doesn’t hate Shadow. He doesn’t even DISLIKE Shadow as far as I know. He’s just rivals with him, because whaddya know, they’re almost equals. Sonic’s an asshole, but he’s not mean.

I for the life of me could not beat the final eggman race with sonic so I switched to metal sonic cause he has a boost and it was much easier.

@@Tactalin I eventually won by a *second* But I didn't have metal since I didnt even know you can unlock him xP so I switched to Ray and exploited his flying mechanic as much as possible xP
