@@justina9914 Sony encourages people to play with scenery and manual mode, that's what alpha studios have done. It's a "learn and be better" smartphone, not an instagram "hit and post" Chinese toy. That's how it is adverted.. "go and play with manual mode.. try out different ISO settings, shot from different angles". The Xperias new target are Pro's that do photo sessions by hobby, not once per month.

As I commented the approach in this video was just. This is an unmatched proof to all those blind Sony haters that Sony smartphones lack power (RAM, processing, etc) compared to chinese or korean products. Sony managed with less power to reach and surpass the so called "Kings of the smartphones" Huawei and Samsung. For me speed doesn't mean anything... @@andreydavydov6417 It's fine. Sony fanboys dom't understand SoCs and I'm a Japanese so I know the actual situation of Xperia phones. In Q2 of this year, iPhone got the most share, next came Galaxy(which used to be 3rd or less) and then Sharp. Xperia couldn't even be top 3 in Japan. Gaalxy phones have Snapdragon SoC in Japan so they aren't as shit as the Exynos variants which have bad multi tasking and awful battery life. Sony fanboys are just blind. Xperia 1 and 4 can't switch cameras while shooting, ni wireless charging , charging speed is too slow in 2019 and zooming suck. I tried lot's of their phones in the store and tested my friends unit as well but they couldn't basically beat Samsung and Huawei.(Xperia only beats Huawei in the audio section ) Anyway, very few people even in Japan now choose Xperia so I'm sure in a few years they will disappear. Sony losses lots of profit based on the mobile department so of they struggle woth selling Playstation, that's when they will leave the mobile market.

@@propersod2390 I don't agree with battery life, but with battery size. Two different things. Regarding the camera's, Sony doesn't touch too much on software for obvious reasons. It's meant to be for professionals, not for instagram or other social medias. Although, I agree that it needs improvement. Specially the front facing camera. In terms of specs, they are on par with all other flagships, and design is subjective. I personally like it. There are HUGE advantages with 21:9. And I'm 100% sure that in a year or so, other manufacturers will adapt the same aspect ratio. Next Samsung flagship is rumoured to have a 20:9 aspect ratio. The One Plus 7T has a 20:9 aspect ratio. Is just a matter of time now

This is another proof to show today's flagships are almost identical in processing speed.. Sony just lacked behind when opening a few games. But I have to say, it's not a problem for most of the people. Not everyone opens up 2 or 3 heavy games at once.. However I noticed that there is a a little delay on Huawei when opening up apps using 'Assistant'

My honor 10 has a game booster (or so they called it) and I think they have a list of games that able to activate the game booster. But I think the game booster won't be turned on with games which are not in the list

sony phone hardware is specially built for long term use so. That's why the firmware updates sometimes came late than other brand phone but guaranteed stable and smooth operation after updates. My Xperia Z2 are still works well despite 5 years now. For Samsung note 10+, having 12Gb ram and Advanced features is the best offer you can get. But the same old issue unstable firmware and hardware since model S Note 3 still appear at 10+. I still love Sony and hope they will adopting faster today's trend and keep on innovative. But mostly, Change Marketing strategy and listen customers words about Lowering the price.

Note 10 and P30 Pro are shorter that's why they can't combine the extra sensors with the cameras module in single lineup. Xperia 5 is taller so it can simplify in single lineup design is elegant and simplicity even put the case on still very good looking! Note 10 and P30 Pro case on must have bigger open hole or two hole for the camera and sensors it isn't a great design.

sony xperia phone uses kinda stock android system so it needs less RAM and run a bit faster, am i right? Observing sony flagship every year, the spec of flagship matches the spec of google pixel phones.

@@NickN56 I have been choosing between Xperia 5, P30 pro, Note 10+ and S10+. Galaxies have great auto HDR, selfie cameras and great stab for 4k video recording. Huawei comes with amazing zoom and night mode. But I chose Xperia 5, because the most important things in camera for me are natural colors, lighting fast autofocus with eye tracking and great manual mode with plenty of settings. Plus Cinema Pro is a lot of fun to use. A pity there is no manual mode for portait and wide angle lenses tho. So it depends what features are most important for you in camera. And other things why I chose Xperia over its competitors are: very comfortable and convenient to use with such form factor and no notches, holes or brows.
