Yes. The hate is the icing on the ceiling-high cake that is CC22's unparalleled rookie year. The contrast btw her unruffled, just wanna play ball attitude and these petty, jealous players, media and league officials just makes every cross court pass and logo 3 that much yummier for all of us.

As long as she can stay focused and concentrates on her game like she's doing. CC has the energy, talent, and heart to grow the WNBA. The amount of hate against her is sad, but it will make her a legend if she can stay on the path she's on. If more players would stop focusing on self promotion and had Caitlin's dedication to the game, the WNBA could stop worrying about its future.

Her vision on the court is unparalleled in league right now. The revealing part of it is it looks natural and it’s not forced. She just looks for the open player. Unlike some other players that just went out with an injury, she doesn’t believe it’s all about her. She wants her teammates to Score also. It ultimately comes down to winning. Winning changes attitudes and effort.

I never watched the wnba because I felt like I was watching a bunch of high school kids playing basketball. When Caitlin Clark came up on my feed, when she was at Iowa State I was amazed at her 3 pointers, her passing and her ability to include her team etc... she was fun to watch. Now, I love watching the Fever play but I HATE all this negativity surrounding her. I'm getting depressed and stressed out. If this doesn't stop I'm out, no matter how good the Fever is. Cunningham is right, it's ridiculous how some veterans and some fans think that the basketball stars back then are superior, better and nobody from all of the newer players can hold a candle against them which is pure crXp. Basketball is evolving. The way the players back then played is effective in their generation. The curry era saw three point shooting is just like a layup for some players, later on logo shots will be just like a layup too, and smart players must adapt to it (changes)because it is good, and not insist that basketball should be played like in the 80s or 90s, because that's pure cxxp

This pressure that you think Caitlin has been under since joining the W has been with her since the beginning of her college career. It doesn’t matter who’s writing the headlines, the conversations were all the same. The defenses were still designed to stop her, and they couldn’t. The coaches in the W as a whole are not better than a lot of coaches she played against in college. A lot of the players she played against are players she’s playing against now in the W and those numbers are only going to grow from year to year. Caitlin isn’t playing the game against someone else, she’s playing against her own expectations, the great ones always do. Every time she walks on the floor she thinks she’s the best player out there, whether she is or isn’t doesn’t matter, it’s just who she’s always been.
