Most ppl often call it in when it comes to their work, they literally do the bare minimum just to get through the day. It is rare to see ppl take this much effort into perfecting their craft, this room is absolutely lovely more so for the effort and exquisite attention to detail. I’ve watched a lot of interior designers and none have impressed me like you have. I think the reason is it feels like you’re designing a mood instead of a room and for lack of a better word that is simply enchanting.

It’s one of my dreams to have my very own Bathroom. I know this sounds freakish but i clean my master bedroom, bathroom every morning well Monday-Saturday because i shear a bathroom with my HUSBAND and he is messy. He says i am on the overkill but it only takes 5mins and it clean all day just for me because he’s at work all day. Yes yes yes his and hers bathroom is a must. Yes to much TMI

Remote controlled candles! THAT is why we’re BFFs (in my mind)! The Mother of Pearl unit is my favourite piece of furniture. The texture is such an eye catching contrast that adds a dollop of understated glamour. Good call! I’m glad you opted for the Burgundy background colour. It has a sense of presence and drama that Taupe just can’t compete with. The square footage of this suite including adjoining rooms is probably bigger than my entire apartment. But that’s ok, I like being able to reach for a glass of water at my kitchen sink, while still seated at my desk! ☺️

Hi Sophie! I have followed your work for quite some time and one thing you said in an early video (not on your channel) that really stuck is that you many times "embraced the darkness of some rooms", that instead of using light colors, you opted for dark and cozy ones even in rooms without much light. I have tried to apply that criteria in my entrance hall (which is quite dark), but the result was not as appealing as your gorgeous rooms. I see that in this room you also went dark (even if you say that the room has a lot of natural light). It would be great if you could go a bit deeper into what aspects you take in consideration when "embracing the dark", and what details you take in account when making any such decision. Needless is to say that this room is a dream! Thank you!
