The lav mic is a Boya BY-M1 (or something similar), which is a very common cheap consumer lavalier. I've used it, but not for while because it has occasionally distorted or interfered on my voice (a staticky noise), for no obvious reason, usually requiring me to dub over it.

LOL! The mic behind the props reminds me of Singing in the Rain. The scene where they sew the mic into Lean's corsage and RF comes and pulls the wire and she goes flying.

What's this cable doing here it's a safety hazard, Yank! I keep hoping my local theater is gonna play it one of these days. I was hoping they would do it right after they got their new surroundsound system so much better than 1.0 speaker from 1900s. I just have to keep remembering the same clip that I've watched on KZbin multiple times.

43:00 I think I could do way worse but that is a pretty darn bad point to pause at. I have an amazing knack for pausing on ridiculously bad points. Should get one of those heart rate monitors that lets you put the value on your screen while streaming... It'll be a new challenge how worked up you can get without raising your heart rate. So far so good on the last two that I've watched. This is a great lesson in spotting what's wrong And without down votes on KZbin It can get a little difficult. I totally suffer with directionality issues when the speaker turns their head towards the screen or towards the audience, it's almost a 6DB difference or more. I've been trying to predict which way they're going to be looking and compressing and generally favoring away from the camera which ends up being the projection screen but I'm also dealing with Live and streaming so it ends up being fairly noticeable within the room especially if I'm fighting with EQ curves and feedback. 44:00 my comments always get really long because I'm reminded of things as I go through. I was watching one of those court TV shows. They had a tap dance group, daughter and parent. the parent was responsible for buying the shoes and they got traditional pink ones and then the group organizer/ owner Took a vote for an older style look which required trying to match the shoes to the skin color of the girls in the group... But this one girl was of the darker skin variety and the owner tried to match I think with make up which turned out so well ... what do you think the outcome was they were on Court TV (or equivalent). No you can't match skin that easily, the judge ruled in favor of the parent. 45:29 Oh goodness I had this on in the background then came back. Cable management oh my goodness. Run them all together and put a placemat over it! I know it's for demonstration but people will copy it. No it gets worse it's like one of those scrambles where you have to stare at it to see the picture. Spot the Mic's I think I count 7? I guess you're gonna have a lot of coverage!

Do DPA lav's with Sennheiser connectors work with Deity Theos? What's the best third-party lav mic for the Deity Theos?

As long as you use the right adapter any should work. As for best... it's based on what you like

I wonder if they used one of those cheap Ebay BIG LAVs for visual size demonstration. Although there's a lot of folks out there that are using those things on the Consumers side of things.
