For me…started 4 yrs ago..was in a relationship for 18yrs two kids ages 14an9 she ended up walking away and that took me 3 months finally broke me an something clicked (my kids) I knew the pain I was on was going to get darker and sitting in my garage 2-3 in the morning I collapsed to my knees, that’s the time I turned to the higher power.. the next morning I was up making eggs and bacon so much weight has been lifted off of my shoulders a year later we moved into our new home. My son is doing well. Getting good grades. My daughter is doing well I’m getting her new equipment. I am finding my footing. I have forgiven from my peace and I find the little things make me happy movie night with my little ones fixing up the yard shopping for my kids and cooking with my son..he’s better cook then me but I’ll never admit it lol… And whenever negative vibes surface around me I have the ability to say it is what it is turn and walk away And not let it bother me.. I’m a full time proud, single father of two amazing, beautiful children and going strong.amen

Pick up any Hindi Yoga Book translated in English- the message is same. I love that I learned this when I was in my 20’S and My life changed. Spirituality is pausing and redirecting your journey to what brings you bliss. It doesn’t mean questioning one’s existence but enjoying it .

It's really weird how well he communicates things. I have been trying to practice from traditional sources for 30 years and had a lot of frustration. I bought The Untethered Soul audiobook on a whim (not even sure why since I thought it was probably just some new age fluff) and had success following his "relax and release" technique immediately. Afterwards, I realized I have at least a dozen other highly-detailed books from authentic lineage holders of different traditions explaining the same things in different words which were, for some reason, way harder for me to truly utilize. I tried and flailed for years and it increased my frustration more than anything else. I even went on retreats and learned directly but somehow just didn't really get it.

Thank you for this. It seems that this was the missing piece, for me. A while ago I heard that desire represents the deepest level of mind. Everything else flows from there; emotions, beliefs, thoughts and perceptions. Therefore it makes a lot of sense to go straight to the root, which is desire, and let it go. If you’re trying to go beyond the mind, this is the most efficient way of going about it that I’ve encountered. And it works. Within 10 minutes of applying this I began to feel the love, and then I started to wonder how it is that I could ever want anything. Everything I’ve been looking for is right here.

Ive been an atheist my whole life so spirituality was never even in the question for me. One day however I noticed, like this guy says, that what i was doing was not working. So I slowly started seeking knowledge through people like jordan peterson, dr k, joe rogan, and other intellectual or wise seeming people. Surprisingly its lead me to these same realizations and I hear this video after about a year of me trying to change and it feels very reassuring. Im still not a believer in higher power but I do now see how our minds can overpower us and lead us down the wrong path. Which opens my once closed mind to be able to see how having something to follow can really help keep your life in check. After all we’re just a bunch of humans trying our best in this unnatural world of our society. I wish everyone here seeking knowledge and change for themselves the best ❤

No problem, Michael Singer! I haven‘t got in life anything I wanted. Not even near. Feels fantastic? I am so spiritual that I lost everything, even joy of life - but, it did not make me feel any better. If I even once got what I want, in away I want- it would be wonderful.

Wow! Just wow! This is it. Now it's upto us to live it , or leave it. But it's pretty black and white. There's nothing in between. Either you do the stuff, all day, everyday, or you don't. There is no shortcut. 🙏❤️

We can choose the way we view life and that outward situations of life cannot rob us of our peace. It is not the world which must change for us to be happy, but our view of life. You don't live on earth, you are passing through it. - Thank goodness too! Don't grieve for what doesn't come somethings that don't come keep disasters from happening... 🌻🌝

I was onboard with this enlightening essay by M. Singer until the last few minutes when he equated the ultimate goal of spirituality with letting go of your individual self and merge totally with the Universe. This is non-dual I would venture. But somehow one still accepts the world as it is, and participates in the world having given up one's individual self. I find this hard to buy into. Despite all the non-dual advocates. I feel it goes one step too far- into death, which we humans should only experience as an end of life reality- not a spiritual reality to live by. Until I am convinced, I cherish the ME that I was born into, and there is a blueprint that we all have unique to each person, and life is about honoring that individual blueprint, not abandoning it.....
