@@martinm1231 Aussie here too. You sold many of your vinyl 😱I bet that was difficult. I don’t have as many as you had, but have a variety of overseas and of course Aussies vinyl - still have my cassettes and CDs . Oh and my darling mum born 1920, now passed threw out all her 78 records and later said, “why on earth did I do that?”. I loved listening to hers as child.

@@martinm1231 know it well. That was one of many mum threw out - why? lol. I remember of Bing Crosby, oh that Christmas story one, she played us every Christmas, The Small One. And many of Judy Garlands, even Judy as a child singing. Who were all the other 78s she had, my old brain is going to have to step back in time lol

@@martinm1231 why did our parents do that 😱. Imagine what records we’d have now 🧐. Just off phone to my son, we were talking music, I said don’t forget when I snuff it lol, to sell my vinyl and divvy up the money with your sisters , he laughed, I said, it’s going in the will busta lol ( he gets on really well with his 2 sisters, he’d never not share. Hopefully a few treasures I’ve kept 😊

Nice one! It’s a cover, the original was released by Free in 1970 - Free are an excellent band, worth looking at them, and also Bad Company (same singer).

This song gets heaps of radio play so you would know it - Frees breakthrough hit from 1970. Check out Free live on Granada Television clips - Paul Rogers I think you have possibly reviewed with Bad Company. I’m sure Irwin would’ve been a big fan of and studied Free’s guitarist Paul Kossof

Great cover of the song from the band Free, sung by Paul Rodgers, who later went on to form the band 'Bad Company' which was also the tital song for their first album. Paul later toured with Queen anfter Freddie passed and did an awesome job, there is a video of their concert in the Ukraine back in 2008 worth watching!

Incredible singer but distracting himself playing that guitar imo. Felt a bit too phoned in/ comfortable. Like you said bro, amazing control and range but energy lacking here. Imagine Farnesy singing this, would absolutely belt tf outta it and be better than the original as always. I'd love to see Jack go for it in another version not playing the guitar, pretending he's JF, he'd kill it no doubt!
