I know the movie was uncut, but l remember when curses were bleeped out on the actual show. Hell, one of the funniest gags in the first ep was when Kyle cursed out an alien and it was almost ALL bleeps lol "Hey you scrawny eyed ****! What the **** is wrong with you?! You must be a ***** to ignore a crying child! I know what you ***** like. You like to ***************************! And ****, and ****, and ****!" I think the bleeps made it MORE funny 😂

Really? I know humor is subjective, but as SP fans I assume we share certain comedic preferences. Did you really like this special? I didn't think it was horrible or anything but I was still greatly disappointed by it. I simply didn't think it was funny enough. The idea was good but I thought the execution was so-so. And I'm talking about the main plot, not the incredibly boring handyman plot.

ya I actually ended up loving their genuinely panderverse characters , Butters was adorable and the overly ironic pandered characters had humour to them , they didn't take themselves too seriously and I love how they are grown ass women that are playing children and they always stand a certain way. They are exaggerated and it's funny but I ended up liking them too.

Every 2-3 years or so South Park makes history. Its literally like a time capsule of our lives. I can point back to MechaStreisand or The Hampster Adventure in the Ass, or the 4th Graders & the Forbidden Tape, or Micheal Jackson wanting to climb trees, the debut of the Xmas Poo, Tegridy Farms, etc. They just keep hitting the pop culture home run so well. I don't watch the show BUT I will watch those singular episodes.

Why should I care about saving one world when infinite versions of that world have already been destroyed? What makes my world special? If we can use time travel to solve one problem, why can't we use it to solve all of them? If the heroes use time travel, what stops villains from utilizing it too? Is the future set in stone, or in a constant state of flux? Is that past similarly set, and any interventions is harmless AND pointless? Or is the past so delicate that any intervention will have cascading consequences. And if time travel and multiverse are just two sides of the same coin, all of these issues and questions are just compounded and magnified.

So Matt & Trey usually don’t finish the episode/special until right before they release it. I got that idea too, that Kyle would be the only one left. That’s because of they trailer they released. But they make they trailers before they even finish the episodes. So if you go back and look, a lot of the scenes and dialogue from their trailers are a lot different than what ends up being in the episodes

The diverse, Rule 63 version of the boys is quite good actually. I liked the designs and the voice acting. Specially the lady doing Cartman. Also Trey and Matt definitely know their fans: artists and fanfic writers will take this and run with it.

which is the meat of the issue, there are legitimately extremely racist/incel chuds that pop a ocrk wheneever they see a black person on screen, see: anyone complaining about miles morales, but if the writing and acting is good, like with the "diverse" versions of the boys, it's fucking great. We could just do the entire next special in the diverse universe and I'd be down

@@override367 That's not what's going on. If the character is legitimately good, it won't get complaints. Though after being beaten over the head with "put a chick/minority in it and make it lame" for like a decade now, it may take time to regain peoples' trust again that a minority character can be good.

What I love about this: Parallel Cartman can understand regular Kenny through his hood Parallel Cartman's voice actor The fact that the Parallel characters can basically say anything they want and not be offensive because they're female minorities 🤣

All the friends can understand Kenny through his hood, they have been laughing and commenting about his crude sex jokes since the first episode of the show. Lots of viewers can also understand Kenny, he is always saying real words that are muffled. There used to be, and might still be, fan subtitling of what Kenny says...

Trey and Matt might have made a mistake, because the pander versions of the characters are amazing. Everyone, including and especially me, will want them back again.
