He was a respectable man, seeing how he talked. He seemed to love and respect Elvis a lot, polishing more his good qualities instead of assassinating his character as part of his human weakness. He truly loved Elvis. He was disciplined, a noble statesman, great in his own vision in life. He got a beautiful ''Memorial Account'' that fans can comment to express his good ''earthly journey'' for himself, and his life's pages with Elvis.

The roof must've been rebuilt three times because Elvis blew that giant thing off in 74, 75, and 76. Live in Memphis 74 is very dear to me as it was the first time I'd heard Elvis as a kid and I became a fan instantly. This theme was very special, even more so with the stories Dick and Dean were sharing. Thank you so much.

Ellis was a classic venue. Sounded awesome too. As sentimental as I am about the roundhouse, I’d say drop it on down if I could get Ellis back. Btw, there is a great photo of a young Elvis sitting on a staircase at Ellis. Think I’ll search for that photo.

Thank you Billy! And while I know others do similar things to what you are doing here, you are clearly not only the most dedicated but the best, and I sincerely mean that from my heart. When, too, as I have often felt that if I had to describe Elvis with one word it would be 'love' you have brought so many different people together so as to be able to share in the love of Elvis and their craft, creating of course - too - friendships that would have otherwise never taken place. A remarkable feat and one that I would hope will give you the enthusiasm to continue with these projects for a long time to come. Since, as I see from your subscriber list, you have gained a good 10.000 viewers in the past few months, I believe, and here at my home at least 4 people watch and enjoy these videos by way of one subscription. Hence, your total viewership has to at least be well over 100,000 people and that is no small feat, my friend. (being honored to call you as such) As a Christian, I know too that people sometimes like to mix up our love of Elvis with Jesus Christ, but I know we are all well grounded in our respective faiths and recognize there was truly only one king, as Elvis himself said, with that being Jesus Christ. When two, however, and given the mystical draw Elvis has and the many people he has been able to bring to Christ through his Gospel music and/or talking of the lord, it does very much seem to me as if Elvis had a special anointing and there is nothing wrong with those having that belief. A belief that is supported by so much evidence in that Elvis was devout himself; even later thought of becoming a preacher; and has an aura like no one else any of us have seen, as both his work - and as much so, his benevolence as a wonderful human being - his flaws not withstanding - has stood the test of time. And as Christians we're well aware of who made who, and as others far wiser than myself have said - "Elvis is a quintessential example of God showing off!;-)" May God bless you; your family; protect you in all that you do; and please have the happiest of Thanksgivings and a most wonderful Christmas if I do not find time to comment or say hello, prior to the holidays, again. Your faithful friend in Maryland ~ Christopher Tyler

I saw Elvis in Tampa, Florida in the 70’s at Curtis Hixon Hall. It was 1975 or 1976. I was 9 or 10. I remember a comedian telling jokes and Elvis coming out and the women screaming behind telling others to sit down. I remember him saying something about an item thrown on stage and asking who threw it. Research shows that he would have done an afternoon show then an evening show.

It's a shame you have to fight to keep buildings from being demolished in this country. They should keep them open and use them for something else unless their unsafe to use. That's my opinion and, I'm sticking to it. I hope this building can be saved.

Wow a scarf around the neck of a lady with two other ladies pulling on it. Guys had to cut it because the girls would not give it up. There are no bad seats in this building. No posts & not too far from the stage. This building needs to be saved & get it active once again. Great sound for concerts Elvis stood right there. Just in front of those clocks & vents. Thanks Dick & Dean for protecting Elvis from possible harm & transporting him from hotels airports arenas safely.

Thanks for more Elvis/Memphis music history SG. Hard to imagine with all the music diversity in Memphis, that this coliseum can't be made into a viable establishment. @@SpaGuy ahh. Ok, thank you. I backed up the video a couple times to re-listen. I couldnt figure out what I was missing, leading to me not understanding what he was saying. What a sleuth I am !! Lol. All I could make of what he said was that, Elvis would come to the Coliseum and do laps around ( inside I asumed ) on something called "the pippen". I wondered if that was a horse he owned. Or maybe it was the brand name of a trike, motorcycle or gocart he had. I was trying to picture him do lapz around the Coliseum on something. In my mind it was a funny sight. I thought, man thats really something. Elvis jad them people so mesmerized that he was able to goad them into letting him tear through the building in whatever fashioned suited him. Lol. Thanks for the answer though. It was eating at me a bit.

P.S. This has never occurred to me, but just now has. You are familiar with Joyce Bouva, are you not? She had a sister who was a twin, of course, and Elvis being a twin himself was always fascinated with that connection. And, when going through his separation and divorce from Priscilla, Elvis dated Joyce and even visited with her - I believe - either on his first visit to D.C., but also later, if not mistaken. Joyce being a Congressional staffer in those days, working on the hill, in Washington, D.C.. Therefore, because of that, and because my Aunt Stell, I believe, still holds the record for being the longest serving Congressional staffer in American history, I myself - have personally met with Joyce - who is still quite beautiful and personable as ever. Therefore, should you wish, and although Aunt Stell passed away sometime ago, I believe my Cousin Grace Ellen would be able to make us an introduction, for an interview, if you were interested? Please let me know your thoughts on the matter while you may always contact me privately, too, at 443-863-0642 (I prefer a text) and/or @TyleruUSA723 @Gmail.com. And as I work for the Department of Homeland Security, now - in a highly classified position - please know that I completely recognize that discretion is the better part of valor and that should you contact me, more directly, as I don't always have time to read KZbin messages, though I try, your contact information would always stay with me and me, alone.

Our beloved ''Spa Guy'' -- I just wish to open my heart to you as someone who loves Elvis. [[ Just an hour ago [ March 29, 2022 ]] someone inquisitively asked me in my Comment, and he was very calculating [ account: The Media ] -- he asked me ''Are you writing a dissertation? {{{ I did respond I dont quite understand his question, and 2ndly responded back }}} == [[ That I am commenting based on my education and academic - scientific calculation because Elvis was not crazy ]]....And if I need to depend the unbuilding definitions about him, then I will be his lawyer, morally. And ''geniuses of world history are and were always defined as ''crazy'' ] - But I did greet him back with peace wishes. == The good account is authored by our French brother [ Thefiyou Movies ]....You, as our universal brother ''Billy'' knows how I make Comments, not to offend people but simply talk about associated truth that were left unspoken, simply for self preservation....Thank you very much for your patience with me [ I know you love Elvis, and we are on the same plane ].
