I was at a very nice restaurant in Napa a while back and they served butter beans. They were delicious and I tried to recreate the dish at home a few days later but they didn't taste the same. I grew up on a farm in south Georgia(USA) and we always had a garden, and butter beans were one of the few vegetables that, as a child, I would eat, but the butter beans we grew were smaller, more tender and green in color. It took a long time for me to like the type of butter beans (we called them Like beans) that you use; I finally learned that the Line beans that I had been served were cooked in plain water, not chicken stock or with a bit of bacon for flavor. I will try this dish to serve with chicken. Thank you again!😊

That is going to be tasty. I really grew fond of the Spanish cuisine as presented by you. I usually store my beans dry. With a pressure cooker they are done in about 20 minutes. As my stove has runs on a timer they can cook unsupervised. Also the recipe offers an excellent answer to the question "what do you do with cheese that got a little hard and dry?" Don´t soak it in milk. Just grate it over some Spanish dish.
