This looks fabulous and so healthy! I love chickpeas and veggies. I feel like this is a recipe that I'd like to experiment with more to mix in many other types of veggies. Have you ever sauteed mushrooms or other veggies with this? I love all of your recipes and thank you so much for sharing.

Thank you, Albert, for pointing out the delicacy of flavor here. I tend to add broth to everything for added nutrition, but I'm persuaded to try this soup with water now. Same with using the subtle spinach versus the pow! of cilantro, another of my habits. Actually, I'm sure I'll do both-kind of apples-to-oranges, both good in their own ways.

this channel is amazing and its so much different (and better) than mexican food!!
@andiarrohnds51639 ай бұрын
@mellocello187 there actually is a need to compare because it's personally amazing to me how Mexico has supposedly come from Spain... But everyone in Mexico only eats pretty much what I consider to be dog food in case if you are wondering... Lots of meat and cheese. I'm not a vegetarian or anything but I just think eating so much meat is gross... I think it's for dogs
@andiarrohnds51639 ай бұрын
@mellocello187 I'm expressing my personal feelings. That is the point of posting here. Are you suggesting nobody should post here? I personally am amazed Mexicans are so different from Spanish people. This is something which personally amazes me hence why I am writing it, hence the entire purpose of posting things online here.... You are suggesting that maybe people are not allowed to say certain things? Think about it for a moment
@andiarrohnds51639 ай бұрын
@mellocello187 now you are being insulting. Thank you. I'm not asking why they are different. I am simply amazed on how they are different and how meat is like dog food. Once again there is no question on why they are different or how they are different. I'm not sure why are you are assuming these things, but you seem to be upset right now and you sound very stupid and ignorant. How ironic is this? I'm sorry but I truly believe that Mexican food is dog food and there's nothing you can do about it because here in my country which is filled with Mexicans And not true Spanish people mind you, we have this little thing called freedom of speech and my country also happens to be filled with millions of these Mexican people. So I probably have much more experience with him than you do. It's really unbelievable and I know their exact history most likely better than you. I even know Spain's history and to me personally it seems like they are still upset that at the little trading war between The British and the Dutch. Please stop replying to my messages because you are a fool fool and now I am the one who's insulting you

Looks great! I’m going to try this one! It reminds me of your Catalan Chickpea dish. We love Spanish cuisine as we live next door to the border of Spain on our French side between southern France and Spain. From Montner, France to the Costa Brava is a 45 minute drive so we have lots of Spanish and Catalan influence in our cuisines here. ❤❤❤ Montner (French pronunciation: [mɔ̃ne]) is a commune in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France.
@Xiroi879 ай бұрын
Southern Spain is certainly not remotely close to the French border
@denicedancasey9 ай бұрын
@@Xiroi87 ok maybe you don’t know the southern French border and Spanish border coastlines… It takes us only 45 minutes through the foothills of les Pyrenees to drive from our home to the Costa Brava! You must not be familiar with the geographical area here… We live in Montner, France… You can look this up on the internet. France-Spain border The border, as seen on the map Characteristics Entities • France • Spain Length 623 km (387 miles) Enclave and exclaves 1 History Treaties Treaty of the Pyrenees, 1659 The France-Spain border (French: Frontière entre l'Espagne et la France; Spanish: Frontera entre España y Francia) was formally defined in 1659. It separates the two countries from Hendaye and Irun in the west, running through the Pyrenees to Cerbère and Portbou on the Mediterranean Sea. The Franco-Spanish border runs for 656.3 kilometres (407.8 mi) between southwestern France and northeastern Spain. It begins in the west on the Bay of Biscay at the French city of Hendaye and the Spanish city of Irun (43°22′32″N 01°47′31″W). The border continues eastward along the Pyrenees to the sovereign nation of Andorra (42°36′13″N 1°26′30″E). At this point, the small country interrupts the border between Spain and France for 63.7 kilometres (39.6 mi) on the Spanish side and 56 kilometres (35 mi) on the French side. Then the border continues eastward (42°30′09″N 01°43′34″E) to the Mediterranean Sea at Cerbère in France and Portbou in Spain.
@denicedancasey9 ай бұрын
@@Xiroi87 haha - no it is most certainly not! You are correct… Southern France is near the Costa Brava side of Spain in Catalonia. I understand you are not from this part of Spain? Actually, I reread my original reply where I typed the countries in backwards… I had typed “southern Spain to our French border but meant to type “southern border of France to the Spanish border…” We are near Barcelona and Girona. Girona is located in North-eastern Spain. We are in the southern most part of France near the Spanish border only 45 minutes from Girona and the Costa Brava… My typing error. Meant Southern France… Montner (French pronunciation: [mɔ̃ne]) is a commune in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France.
@@Xiroi87 We feel very privileged to live on the southern French side of the northeastern Spanish & southern French borders so shall stick with my Catalan-Spanish-French cuisine… Montner (French pronunciation: [mɔ̃ne]) is a commune in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France.

What are you talking about? It’s clear at 2:13 that the oil is sizzling and at 3:33 that the vegetables are well-browned. That doesn’t happen in a cold pan, “chef.”
