Technically that kid wouldn't have negated Juggernaut's power because he's not a mutant. He's just a guy who found the gem of Cyttorak, which grants him his powers by magic instead of mutation. It's an interesting side story where some powerful aliens each picked a champion to battle it out and see who was the strongest. Juggernaut coincidentally happens to be Xavier's stepbrother. Side note; he has a line from a youtube dub of the Xmen cartoon called "I'm the Juggernaut, B**ch" which is pretty hilarious.

Earlier in the movie Charles was giving a lecture about the ethics of transferring the consciousness of one person into the body of another. In the moment he was obliterated by Jean grey, he transferred his own consciousness into the body of that comatose patient.

After the 2006 X-Men 3 here are the rest of the movies in order, (2009) X-Men Origins: Wolverine, (2011) X-Men First Class, (2013) The Wolverine, (2014) X-Men Days of Future Past, (2016) X-Men Apocalypse, (2017) Logan, (2019) X-Men Dark Phoenix, (2021) The New Mutants. And then after that you can watch the Deadpool movies, they actually make small connections to some of these X-Men movies.

@@toastghost342 I only put in order the years the movies were released but the timeline is sort of all over the place. The Wolverine does literally start where X-Men 3 left off but it's still important to watch X-Men Origins Wolverine only because the end credit scene of Deadpool 2 connects to that. X-Men First Class may be a prequel but it also connects to X-Men Days of Future Past which is also a sequel to X-Men 3. A lot of people hate The New Mutants but it also connects to the movie Logan so it's still important to watch that. In X-Men Days of Future Past Wolverine went back in time and did something, and what he did caused an all new X-Men timeline, and the movies X-Men Apocalypse and X-Men Dark Phoenix is part of that new timeline. I also think X-Men Origins Wolverine and X-Men Apocalypse exist in different universes because Scott is a teen in the late 70's but also show him as the same age in 1983(meaning Scott has different birthdays in both worlds). In my opinion just watch it in order based on the years they were released, so the next movie to watch is (2009)X-Men origins Wolverine, and then (2011)X-Men First Class and so on.

I disagree with this particular assessment. Wolverine’s body even handles alcohol as a poison, and why it takes so much alcohol to get him drunk, and why he and Thor are drinking buddies with the extra strong stuff. He can literally drink on a god level. This was an antibody to the mutant cells. I think that the amount of cure that’s injected would be torn apart before it could affect many cell’s in Wolverine’s body, and he’s just regenerate them back. In the comics, he’s literally regenerative from a single cell. I just don’t see any way that the cure would work on him. Even when vampirism took over the entire world in the comics, Wolverine wasn’t affected. The Reed & Sue Richards (vampires) literally kept him in the basement and fed on him. I just don’t see this happening, especially when it was already wearing off of Magneto, and he had multiple doses injected in him at one time.

Scarlet witch vs the phoenix is a non contest. Scarlet witch, is a witch. Phoenix is an intergalactic force of nature. in every version of the Phoenix except for the newest one, they do a pretty good job at showing that shes no joke and above most people that we've run into. They talk about it in this movie a bit, but she gets classified into a non number based classification known as Omega level mutants. another one is iceman, who has been really nerfed for the movies but in reality is absolutely not one to mess with.

This was the highest grossing X-Men film for 8 years. Yet it's considered one of the most hated. Brett Ratner replacing the now disgraced Bryan Singer as director was because Singer bowed out to do 'Superman Returns' (strange choice to some). If Singer had stayed, X3 would've been an even bigger masterpiece. This one moved a little quicker than the first 2 films and upped the action (a la' video games and animated series). Between Jean becoming the Phoenix way different from the comics (controversial), the cure being seen as hope or threat and Magneto staging a final attack to tip the balance did make for some goodness. A tie-in video game, "X-Men: The Official Game" came out before X3 and takes place between both X2 & X3 with many of the cast voicing their characters. Several scenes were cut from the film as either alternate or unseen footage and were actually pretty cool. Most of us following the franchise knew that this was the end for the moment and more X-movies were coming, Fox had all sorts of ideas for the future. X3 did start a trend that was pretty cool as the first-ever Marvel movie with a post-credits scene.

Jean as Phoenix is a Galactic level threat. Scarlet Witch would not be much of a threat. In the comics, Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet is no threat to Phoenix. Her power comes from a Cosmic Force outside of the Gauntlet's powers, and she is connected to the nexus of all realities, able to time travel or dimension hop using the Phoenix Force, which is exactly what another holder of the Phoenix Force did once to enter our reality, a version of a descendant of Jean. In the movies, Thanos would win, as the Gauntlet has been portrayed as the second most powerful weapon in all reality, and he could snap her out of existence before she knew he existed. However, if Phoenix got the drop on Thanos, and was willing to kill, she would win.

To be fair to Rogue, i would hate to be deprived of human contact and intimacy, whether that's an embrace from friends or a simple kiss from a lover. 😢 I don't blame her one bit. With a power like that, I'd be less concerned about pleasing a boy and more concerned about my own desires to be intimate with someone. The idea of a battle between Jean Grey and Scarlet Witch is something many fans want to see. There’s an endless debate about who is stronger. Personally, I don’t see the point. If they fought, no matter who loses, the world wouldn’t survive. Everyone would be gone. So let’s not go there, haha!

If you like the Xmen I BEG you to watch the animated series of Xmen 97 before season two comes out in 2025 it would help you see why for many of us it is Xmen > Avengers. I think someone else mentioned in comments here that Juggernaut isn't a mutant, and I've seen that comment elsewhere too. So because his "power" comes from a gem/stone instead of a mutation, his powers shouldn't have been affected by Leech (the mutant that neutralizes mutant abilities).

Based on this new knowledge, I am even more impressed with how they were able to even craft a narrative at all without all the canon details they weren't allowed to use. This iteration of x-men, the trilogy specifically, is quite a neat circle in its own universe and I appreciate the way they were able to kind of tie up the gaps in a cohesive way. Especially Phoenix. Her design at it's apex, in her childhood home, makes me think of the way a composite photo of a nebula looks, and I've always suspected that was deliberate.😂
