skin color? so you think these guys wanted to shoot him cause he was black, but drove past him on 911 and didn't shoot in fact he only shot when he attacked and stopped shooting when he stopped attacking? and just they happened to know he was on that property twice as was right you might not know what ahmaud was doing, but he did. first, GA allows anyone to make an arrest like police IF IT'S A FELONY? doesn't apply here but the prowling law has it's own part, it says anyone can ask what you are doing, and if you run, it's an admission of guilt, by law, not by actual guilt, you could own the property and still violate this law. being on a jobsite without a vehicle or tools is prowling by the laws definition. ahmaud knew he was on the property, ahmaud knew he didn't own it, ahmaud knew they weren't gonna shoot since they already had the chance, ahmaud heard them on the phone with police, he attacked cause he knew eventually police would show up. not because these guys had chose not to shoot him, but he gave them a reason after attacking committing the crime of prowling and fleeing, does not give you the right to assault and take away guns. at most ahmaud could call 911, not attack people don't have to run and hide form criminals fleeing crime scenes. but morally, murder for trespass, they should have kept their distance, and someone died for it

Investigators in the District Attorney's offices in Georgia do NOT have arrest powers. McMichael failed to attend basic police training on 2005, and failed to attend yearly required inservice training at LEAST 4 years between 2005 and 2019, this included firearms training and REQUIRED requalification testing. In February 2019 he was given the option to retire or be terminated. Maybe if he had attended the required yearly training, he would have known that his actions regarding his pursuit of Mr Arbery were illegal from the beginning. Maybe Ahmaud would have been left alone to finish his run instead of pursued, blocked his path, rerouting him by force, hitting him with their trucks and eventually murdering him..he would be alive today.

When the cop showed up to the scene, he didn't bust his ass to render Arbury any aid.
@laurabook9492

That is where the injustice of Aubrey murder is underlined and finalized. These cops were aiding and abating the murder of Aubrey. They called on a monster to do their jobs, then when the monster felt entitled to slaughter Aubrey they got to the scene and not only watched him die a horrific death, but walked around while he was in excurciating pain and took pictures of him dying. They did not render any aid to him. He was probably going to die from 3 gunshots, but compassion and humanity and their oath to protect & serve was tossed to the street where Aubrey laid. The cops should be accountable for even asking the monsters to look out for the construction site, for not arresting the monsters and for not giving aid to Aubrey.

The most striking image is seeing elder McMichael standing in the bed of the pickup with his pistol out. In addition, the son behind the driver’s door pointing his weapon at Arbery as he approaches from a long ways off. That dude was in the Coast Guard. If the Coast Guard is truly military, he would have been trained to never point a weapon unless ready to shoot. The fact he was doing so probably increased Arbery’s fight or flight level. He had already tried running, and he was gassed. Only one option left at that point being outnumbered, fight for his life.

So yes, it is quite damning for more than one (1) reason, for the police to pass the buck to that dip-shit. Any defense of the criminal justice system in this jurisdiction, that tried to bury this case repeatedly, speaks volumes about the person's character.

When really he had been seen looking in a house that was under construction. "Which so many of us do I might add"The men who saw him with a friend chased Ahmaud down and killed him. The fact that the people who are in charge of handling, this looked at that video and know one went to jail. Is a cover up in it's self. And then to throw salt in the families eyes once the video is leaked. They then turned the killers into the victim. And made the real victim here the criminal. The justice system is bull. It’s crazy how many conspirators had written that the distance from Ahmaud’s home to the construction site was 10 miles when it was actually 2.5 miles....a huge and significant difference from what was being led by the conspirators. I have in many cases jogged more than 2 to 4 miles when I was younger and healthier. I have to admit that when I read the “10 miles”crap, I was more inclined to not believing that Ahmaud had been just jogging for such a distance. But now with this new correctly measured distance that is broadcasted, I can see that many were indirectly trying to discredit Ahmaud by painting him to being more less a victim. The fact the autopsy reveals that his system was clearly absent of any substance, including alcohol, clearly bolsters a defense for the victim (Ahmaud Arbery). People, I lived at Westside of Chicago during my younger years, and I use to jog into the Oak Park and River Forest suburban neighborhood where I would jog way pass 3 miles on a regular basis. It’s really not fair for people to try to smear the image of a young man whose interest might have simply been just the admiration of the beauty of a house under construction. This is a thing that is far more common than we are led to believe. I truly feel sorry for his family, especially his mom who’s having to deal with the unwanted publicity.

The south is no different than the north, midwest or west. Evil and genuinely good people are everywhere. The problem with people. Is most people honestly feel they are better than other types that don’t share their same back grounds. Racism is very real. it’s not something that people falsely claim or dream up. Racism exists all over the world. Always have been, always will be. It’s bad up here in the north too. I know exactly what happened in this neighborhood in Georgia. Make no mistake. These so called close knit neighborhoods are are extremely politically corrupt. People in these neighborhoods act however they want. Because they have residential, political and police support through manipulation and corruption. This is why these idiots act this way. It’s a political corruption problem mainly. Supported by racism. If you have followed this story closely in its entirety. You will learn. This community was picking on this kid for months. This wasn’t a first time occurrence. This neighborhood was manipulating against him for several months. Had nothing to do with thefts accurring or not in this neighborhood. The police were picking on him outside this neighborhood also. All motivated by this corrupt neighborhood. It’s all related. Very bad people. This is how evil people operate. Kid never did a damn thing. He feared for his life. People have been oppressing other people, using the police for centuries. We are supposedly an advanced civilization. Oppression using the police hasn’t changed a bit.

A DUI accident and his family were at the crime scene before the cops made it there... nothing ever happened and my dad got blamed for it. And I know for a fact that my dad does not drink and drive, and definitely would not have been driving somebody else's brand new truck. I looked at the vehicle and the crime scene report and it was so obvious that my dad could not have been driving... Jack Ass Perhaps he misspoke in that interview but I believe that what he was trying to say is that he hadn’t known the McMichael’s beyond the McMichael’s initial solicitation...in what I would call an attempt to gain confidence in policing the area that included the construction site. What’s actually troubling is that the McMichael’s could have cared less if the home owner had given them the permission to do so because at the end, they had the boldness in doing as they were pleased. But then again, it appears that we’re all speculating with fragments of evidence in the entire case. I still feel that because of the high level of said coverups within the district, it is likely that the videos are being released in drip drop mode to gauge from the public discourse and mood.

Mr. English has never said that Mr. Arbery was the person or persons in any of those night-time videos, and he cannot identify the person now. He never used the word "burglary." He never shared any of this information with the McMichaels, whom he did not even know. Nothing was ever stolen from the house -- which, again, was a construction site. The only crime that the homeowner has seen captured on video is the senseless killing of Mr. Arbery. On February 23, the English family was two hours away from the Satilla Shores neighborhood and was unaware of the tragedy that was unfolding. Mr. English was working with his bees when he received an alert that the camera had activated. He had honey all over his hands. He continued working for about 20 minutes, then washed up and viewed the video. When he saw a person captured on video inside the house, he telephones another property owner in Satilla Shores and asked whether he could see someone in the house and whether he should call the police. That property owner informed him that a man (later identified as Mr. Arbery) had been killed. When Mr. English saw photos of Mr. Arbery, he did not even recognize him as the man in the video captured inside the house. Again, nothing was ever stolen from the English property. Even if theft or damage had occurred, however, the Englishes would never have wanted a vigilante response. The Englishes did not know the McMichaels. The Englishes never enlisted the McMichaels to do what they did and do not want to be part of any effort to justify the McMichaels' actions. I am emphasizing these facts to address the impression that some people have that the homeowners took part in the McMichaels' actions. The homeowners were shocked and deeply saddened by these events, which they learned of after-the-fact. The homeowners are parents, and they are heartsick for Mr. Arbery's mother and father. Larry English and his family are praying for the Arberys." Elizabeth Graddy, attorney for homeowner Larry English, said it appears the man may have been getting water on the property. Graddy wrote there is a water source at the dock behind the house and a water source near the front of the house. Graddy writes that although the water sources don’t appear on camera, the man moves to and from their locations. Also in the video, Graddy says what sounds like water can be heard on the tape. Attorneys for Ahmaud Arbery wrote in a statement Friday: "We have reviewed a number of videos released by the attorney for the owner of the home under construction. We are able to confirm that Ahmaud Arbery appeared in one video, however we are unable to confirm that he appeared in any other videos." Other video obtained by First Coast News shows children and adults walking into the house at different times.
