What if we already have things that you wouldn't believe exist? What if Trump declassified some of them on his way out of office? Look up the name Salvatore Pais. That's just one tiny little tidbit of "hidden tech" that some of us get to play around with. The boys in the DIA though? They get the REALLY fun stuff... When a neuron fires, does it produce an electric field? What if we have satellites that can watch the electric fields created when neurons fire, and relay that data back to an operator using a Brain/Computer Interface "Rig"? Could we see though our enemies eyes and hear through their ears? Reality is stranger than fiction..................................

There was a mixup with my barracks and I was unknowingly rooming with a female for 2 weeks. We never saw each other because of our schedules, until one long weekend when I hopped out of the shower and walked out of the bathroom in just my towel… it was probably the weirdest conversation I’ve ever had in the military. We both had a laugh. Ended up dating for a year though

The most memorable for me was as soon as an burst of .51 cal cracked near me, I hit the deck so hard I almost broke my nose and eyepro. The noise went through my peltors, I heard ringing in my ears and my face stung from the debris on my cheek. My eyes for some reason focused on my squad leader. I remember the fingers on my m4's pistol grip was shaking from the death grip I had around it. It felt like I was going to break the plastic from the grip alone. The only reason why I got out of that situation was because of my squad leader. He was as cool as dry ice. I hyper focused on each and every one of his instructions and hand & arm signals. I don't know why, I was able to hear him despite the ear pro and more than fifty meters of distance between him and my fireteam. He also had an southern Texan draw, and no one understood him normally but for some reason why I heard him as clear as the airpods I am wearing right now. Amazing man.

@tarantulathree-one8013

@@EarCandyContraption got to love the non NATO calibers. Very distinct sounds, especially if they explode near your face. Been shot at by a fifty rws by accident in an live fire clfx as well. The weapons console malfunctioned and the turret spun pass the left and right limit during a long burst. The VC and the crew apologized and my squad was pissed but said shit happens. CSM made everyone pmcs their RWS on the spot right after the safety stand down and a bunch of guys from General Dynamics were called after a few days. Think the .51 cal beat the fifty in terms of oh shit and ear numbing crack. Then again rounds blowing up tree lines were different than rounds blowing up rock and mud walls.

How intelligent IS your belly button, exactly? For future reference: Navel: (noun) a rounded knotty depression in the centre of a person's belly caused by the detachment of the umbilical cord after birth; the umbilicus. Naval: (adjective) relating to a navy or navies. I understand English might not be your first language (& I must say, you have a better grasp of it than most native English speakers). The navel/naval mistake is one many native English speakers also make.

My uncle was in military, married to a teacher. The moment he reached allowed years to retire, he retired. Now focused with his kids and hobbies while enjoying decent pension. So this could be a pros. When you retire early, you can spend rest of your life being there for your kids seeing how they grow, and you get to enjoy daily slow life with your hobbies. (fishing for him). He would drive his family everyday, kids to school, and wife also to school, then he would go fishing. He looks like he enjoying peaceful days.

I loved the question about what you guys thought about the other branches. I'm British, and while I've never been in the military I know the branches here have similar take-the-piss rivalries. Both my grandfathers were in the RAF during WWII and my dad was an Air Cadet, and he told me they always referred to the Army and Army Cadets as 'Pongoes' - because where the Army goes, the pong goes. For their part the Army in WWII referred to the RAF as the 'Brylcreem Boys' because they had such a rep for being really into their looks and picking up girls everywhere they went. Maybe they still call them that for all I know, despite Brylcreem having lost some of its cultural relevance!

The LRP-style MREs using freeze-dried food can last well over 25 years, some of which were from Vietnam [oldest being from 1961 I believe] and tested about 6 years ago with zero noticeable degradation. Apparently medals increases how much money you get as job payment. And it is lifetime fixed. It increases your pension. And he said that it is lifetime-lifetime because even if you commit crime later, the medals could help in dodging jail time, and you'd still be getting the monthly $$$ from the medal even after you did something bad. Is this the same to where you are from? The medal thingies?

So I didn't just want to spam questions in multiple comments just to get picked so I'm gonna do one big comment with multiple questions!! Q: when serving did you ever get many people serving is just gonna be like vidoe games such as call of duty or battlefield etc, just balls to the wall fights and tech? Q: during training was there ever that one guy who was the know it all, who would just try show off every time? Q: Has there ever been a time where you were told to do something you knew was wrong but had to do it anyway? Q:where you ever sent across the seas to train with other military groups to learn and understand their training methods? Q:Where there any drills you guys had to do where there was no end to it, like where a certain amount of people had to give up before the drill would stop? Q: when your joined your regiments where there any rumors or legends of soldiers with the most amount of kills or done something that was just insane to even imagine? Q:what was the scariest moment you both had while serving? Q: Cameron whst kind of heavy metal would be your go too, any specific album or band that just gets you pumped? Q: would you guys ever consider a let's play of military games, doing some of the scenarios as a pair in a virtual setting to see how well you coordinate together? Q : when you got into your regiments did your thoughts of the section meet your expectations or was it completely different? Last one I promise! outside of the KZbin setting what are you guys doing now? as I'm sure KZbin isn't the full time job as of yet. thanks guys! love the channel! Will be getting merch pretty soon 😊👍
