Thanks for all of the great tips. I'm old enough to remember when the fast guys weren't very helpful.

Would you be able to make a video going through your selection of tires for 1/8 buggy? How you decide the compound and tire you pick for the conditions.

Different world with youtube, back in the day the oldschool dudes kept the secrects locked away like launch codes for nukes. Thanks for the tips

Good tip I will give this a try. Before I do can I check with you if you glue both the outside and inside walls with the method you have shown us?

Watching tour thread trying to get backbinto running vars after 20 years. Do you glue both sides or just the outside? Sorry if it is a stupid question.

May try this with an older set of short course tires since I feel traction rolling due to tire fold/body roll is most apparent in that class.

Could you get a similar benefit by running VTR/60mm front wheels which have lower side walls?

Used to do this a lot when racing on astroturf, but for some reason they banned it a couple of years back from the UK nationals and regionals🤷♂️

Hey Spencer how Do I fix the white residue on tyres without ruining tyre
@masonherrick043 жыл бұрын
Not sure if you’ve found an answer on this, but if you get a heat gun and run it over the tire it will get rid of it 👍

What about 1/8 scale buggy?

After 1 run it seams like the glue cracks and goes away? Do you re apply every run?
@Ledsrule1 Жыл бұрын
Had the same problem now I use a glue activator. The activator I’m using is call Mitreapel awesome The cure time is 1 minute and it ready to race. It stopped the cracking
