As fun as it is to see two guys disassociate while cooking like this, I actually enjoyed the first time around's format more. You had the choice of eating hotter peppers to get better ingredients, but that also meant that there was more of a chance of both dishes being different in more ways (like Josh choosing to go with bread slices instead of brioche, and baby bel cheese.) Would love to see the "pick your ingredient" style of this come back! You could even have two sets of each ingredient per pepper, in case both chefs want the same tier of ingredient.

I agree! I liked that format better! Still the same end goal (burger, chicken sandwich etc) but ingredients varying. Like they could’ve done chicken thighs, chicken breast, or like deli chicken/chicken strips.

I watched Logan on BBQ showdown and he's incredibly talented as so perfect for regular appearances on mythical kitchen! Plus his total vibe just works for the channel! both Josh and Logan are incredibly smart and extremely well educated on the science behind cooking and I really think this pair can truly do some insane collabs. I loved watching the spicy challenge but this definitely doesn't show Logan at his fullest potential, we need more Logan and Josh! Make this happen pleaaaase

I'd love to see a team-based spice wars. teams of 3 or 4 people, and every 3 minutes, one member of each team must eat a progressively spicier pepper. Do you share the heat and push through, or make one person suffer so the others can cook well? Might make for a fun twist on this show! maybe with a 60 minute timer and some higher stakes?
