I don't understand how sony manages to not do the simplest things that fans want: solo spiderman street level movie, spiderman/daredevil team up, spiderman vs venom. They've had years to plan out this fourth movie it baffles me that they are having trouble with it

@@ionceateataco2386 the trouble comes with balancing out their ideas, which are usually fiscally based with that of marvel who currently have creative control of Spider-Man character within the MCU. For instance they wanted a Spider-Man vs. venom movie since Venom 1, but Marvel smartly said no for brand protection reasons. Now it's rumored that they had an idea for a street-level Spider-Man movie that was meant to follow NWH, but since marvel just threw up this hail Mary with Doomsday and RDJ, and Sony has to get a Spider-Man film in theaters by 2027 or they lose the rights, that street level film would be been tricky to do in the context of the greater universe. So they have to scrap it or rework that idea.

Sony needs to just release control and rights to Disney/Marvel. They are setting themselves up for failure by not having Spiderman 4 open to all available theater variations. Especially IMax... that's a major (money maker) visual aspect that people love to view.

I personally hope that Knull still is going to be the villain of spider man 4 and that some how we get a team up between Tom hardy venom and Tom holland spider man. Idk how venom and knull would go to the MCU but I think if somehow they both made it to to the MCU, it would call fr a huge team up between Tom Holland Spider man (obviously), Miles Morales Spider man who Tom holland said he would love to bring in, Spider woman who is rumored to be played by Sadie sink, and Black Cat who is rumored to be payed by Sydney Sweeney, and then of course Tom Hardy’s venom. It would be cool as well if Andrew Garfield spider and Toney miguires spider men could join the team to but I wouldn’t be too upset if they aren’t since they were in spider man 3. However, I think all the other characters I mentioned NEED to be in spider man 4. It would basically be an Avengers Iike team up of spider people to defeat Knull.

I still don't understand why marvel made the MCU 616 instead of leaving it 19999, I could see IF they had to include Toby and Andrew's Spidey... That the movie would open showing them on their respective worlds then the world's start to be destroyed with the Spidey s getting sent to battle world/ the void. I still want Tom's Spidey to at least start out ground level, with A daredevil possibly some other defenders taking on mayor fisk.
