In this video, we will be taking a look into the Multiverse and all that is being tied together including the Spider-Verse. With a multitude of incursions and multiversal wars seemingly on the cards, it looks like we could have some messed up timelines across the Marvel Universe. So the multiverse is Dying.
Things aren't looking good and everything is fated to end in a multitude of incursions and multiversal wars that ultimately destroy timelines across the Marvel Universe. This is being seen in every factor of the films and throughout this video we're gonna be explaining all the high concept things going on right now and what their basis in the comics is.
After first being opened up during the events of Loki Season 1 we've slowly seen projects emrbacing it from across the pantheon of Marvel movies and TV shows. So far it's been explored in What If, No Way Home, Multiverse Of Madness and Across The Spider-verse.

If you really want to understand Secret Wars, you have to start with Hickman's Shield and Secret Warriors, then you segway into his FF, then you read Avengers and New Avengers which is two separate books taking place at the same time. You also gotta read everything he did in Ultimate Thor and Ultimates. That's the only way you'll get the full picture. It really is next next level story telling. It's unmatched.

In the Multiverse, we have The TVA (pruning timelines to save the sacred timeline), the Spider Society (stoping people who are displaced in the multiverse & making sure canon events happen), the Guardians of the Multiverse (formed by Uatu the Watcher), Gwen’s new band & the Illuminati all studying the Multiverse and trying to prevent it from dying

Absolute points cannot be broken that was the whole point of the dr strange episode of what if the whole point of across the spiderverse is that cannon events can be broken if they were the same it would be very contradictory

@@tmoose4688 What If Strange isn't an Anomaly though (at least as far was we know)...Variants like Loki and Miles might be the only living beings in existence with free will that can somehow fundamentally alter the canon of reality. Though if that's the case then Avengers Secret Wars will have no impact given they should just be saved by Loki or Good Kang unless something happens to them before that. So yeah my guess is canon events don't exist...Miguel went through either a fixed point in time somehow accidently or experienced an incursion without knowing what it is. Creating his theory based on limited information about the multiversal variants of Spider-Man he's encountered which isn't all of them only some of them. But then that just means...They're ALL going to die no matter what they do. Only difference is sooner or later. Though it's entirely possible that it's not Miles that's an Anomaly...But the entire Animated Spider-Verse. Hence why the Inheritors and Spider-Gods don't come into play at all. Hence why the Glitching occurs ONLY in it. So their Multiverse could be a separate domain within a Marvel Omniverse...That only the MCU Multiverse will suffer Incursions. While the Spider-Verse suffers Canon Breaking/Fixed Points in Time vs Anomalies having free will and the power to alter canon for better (Miles) or worse (The Spot and any kind of Anomaly that doesn't care what they do like Evil/Broken/Misguided Spider-People or Spidey Villains).

This is more related to your last video but in that you said Miles should transfer from animated to live action after Beyond The Spiderverse, however that doesn't work with the rules established in the Spiderverse movie. Everytime a character enters a different universe they keep their original form or art style so that means Miles would have to stay animated in live action. The only exception to this is the post credits scene of Into The Spiderverse, but Across sort of retcons that scene so it just seems more like a fun meme scene than actual Canon. Would love to hear your thoughts on this Paul and anyone else who reads this

There is one thing people fail to realize, Miguel is wrong. His canon is false. They aren’t absolute points. There are a few points in the film that prove this Miguel lived in 2099b for a good while. Universe 42 didn’t end with no canon events coming to pass Universe 1610 didn’t end with peter’s death Mumbatin was falling apart prior to Miles’s intervention. So dark matter caused the collapse of both mumbatin and 2099. Secondly, this is about comics. Dr doom is the only person who cares for earth and humanity. He wants to rule a thriving earth not ashes. And the existing downward spiral will destroy earth

Yes! Glad I'm not the only one who realized there is some inconsistency in how incursions work (even within Across the Spiderverse). It's been a year since 1610 Peter’s death and that Universe and 42 are still there. My initial thought was maybe it is just dream-walking/dark magic that causes incursions but that doesn’t work with the fact that Miguel living in another universe destroyed it. Another possibility is that Miguel is hiding something about what happened to that universe.

Incursions happen when two worlds collide, as in, someone from another universe come into an already existing universe and interfere too much. However, it is possible to avoid it safely like George Stacy. He stepped down from being a police captain by his own choice, no intervention from someone from another world

The only thing we know that causes incursions (in the MCU) for sure is dreamwalking. It's not explained very well in Multiverse of Madness which has a lot of people believing that Multiverse travel alone causes them. My guess is that with dreamwalking, you are essentially in 2 universes at the same time which is what causes the boundaries to erode. Every incursion that we know about so far were caused by dreamwalking. There have been multiple cases of multiversal travel that hasn't caused incursions.

I think Miguel is sort of like Rick from Rick and Morty limiting them to a certain part of the multiverse aka the Spiderverse where their sacrifice connects them through what he calls “canon events” when evil Morty escapes the part of the multiverse where Rick is a genius and he’s an idiot he’s going beyond that multiverse. I think beyond the Spiderverse will be going beyond the limited part of the multiverse where they lose someone to become Spider-Man. Maybe Miguel needs these spidermen to lose someone to create the network of the Spiderverse so he can use that as a cover to find universes where his wife and daughter exist because he couldn’t travel to them without their DNA routing them to their universe

Telling and fulfilling every theory from the previous films and making them real. They're 100% all connected. However what happened to Miguel isn't necessarily an Incursion. It can be Breaking an Absolute Point in Time (Time Paradox)...Though that can't be done accidently so if he did that he's lying about what happened. It can be Time itself was broken by Sylvie when she killed He Who Remains so countless realities were wiped from existence at random. It can be the Collider of that reality created a Blackhole that destroyed it...Though it doesn't look like it's the dark energy consuming the world like in Spider-India's.

I've absolutely hated the whole incursion concept since they introduced it in the comics, and the MCU model just annoyed me more. I don't think you are wrong, but I am not of the concept. the conqueror who currently runs the TVA ends timelines that oppose him especially the timeline that gives birth to He Who Remains so he cant go on to conquer Alioth and defeat the Conqueror like he said in episode 6 of Loki. We know he who remains sanctioned the avengers time travel to defeat Thanos so we may see Loki leading the avengers into a reverse time heist instead protecting the various plot points of the MCU movies because the conqueror will need to stop the MCU from becoming the sacred timeline that births he who remains. Once they guarantee that timeline and help a young he who remains conquer Alioth he could then decide to use Alioth like molecule man and destroy every universe and create Battleworld from the various pieces of timelines much like the void in Loki, starting the Secret Wars movie

Do you think that He Who Remains sanctioned the time travel in Endgame or do you think that he came from a future where that had already happened so he just made sure it played out the way it was supposed to? I've always leaned more towards the idea that everything we see in the MCU (at least from Phases 1-3) is what happened in the timeline He Who Remains came from. That's why it is the Sacred Timeline because it is his original timeline. He created the TVA to protect his timeline and to prevent the creation of anymore variants of him

@@culchiefilms1791 he came from a timeline where that happened and when he decided the rules of time travel and which timelines to destroy he does indeed sanction the avengers time travel by allowing their universe to continue and not having the TVA show up the moment they arrived in alternate timelines in endgame becauze he needs to ensure this happens to give birth to him. It could be that Avengers tower is going to come the Baxter building like it did in Multiverse of Madness with Tony hiding some kind of uplink to his time travel discovering in the building and a future descendent of Reed inheriting the building and finding the uplink which could be why to us death and the avengers time travel was allowed because it directly leads to He Who Remains Timeline both are true

Apparently now it is supposed to be Mephisto who bought Avengers tower according to leaks from Ironheart but I believe the original plan was for it to be the Baxter building. I think it would have made more sense but I understand why they would want to try tie it into Ironheart too. In terms of all this multiverse and time travel stuff, I like the way the MCU can be more fluid but unfortunately I think we, the fans, probably put more thought into it than they do. I bet my life that by the time we finally get to Secret Wars there will so many plotholes and contradictions as to how it all works. There already is really, especially now that these Spiderverse movies have been tied into it

It's not too late to pull off a great Secret Wars that finishes off Spider Verse and Avengers storylines. However......need new writers. I have such a bad feeling about future Avengers films by Rick and Morty because it's just so obvious that they don't get it. They have majorly screwed up Wanda, Van Dyne, Doctor Strange, Reed Richards, Cassie Lang, Kang, Wong, Mordo, Thanos, Professor X, Captain Carter and America Chavez. Meanwhile their multiverse and time travel concepts are nonsense, and their ideas about mysticism is just to use cartoon magic as a plot McGuffin.

Why are we not talking about Miguel being a Kang? From a different universe, and killing this universe's true spider to impersonate him🤔 A Kang would be able to fake all these incursion events. He's just low-key rebuilt his own TVA, and manipulating the multiverse by tricking spiders into being his henchman. He plans on using Spot to collapse the multiverse back into a singular timeline😱

Why the heck would Miguel do that? Do you even know Spider-Man 2099's history and personality from the comics, to deduce this being an actual likely possibility? I don't see it happening... Just saying. It seems like something Superior Spider-Man would do, and that is just Doc Ock being inside Peter Parker's body.

It appears that all of this is an attempt to create a world that really has no rules or logic while claiming that there are rules and logic governing how things work. This seems to me to be a lazy pathway to storytelling that allows writers to do anything they wish while claiming to follow rules. The conflicts may appear real, but the literary trick reduces these conflicts into illusions. What is "real" is just what the writer says that it is, but the literary device allows that reality to be reversed at a later time for another story. This may produce a few popular movies, but the literary device will become boring--something like the overuse of time travel as a literary device. After a while, the device becomes tedious.

Hmm well they could have gone the route that when Spider-Man used magic to make people forget who he was that many did the same at the same time but they all couldn’t stop it at the end . This movie could have been the destruction of all realities but never shown a bad guy and it’s him at the end or another Spider-Man also what no venom Spider-Man that hates Spider-Man but is conflicted because he is Spider-Man

They're NOT heroes. Existence is Suffering it's a Feature not a Bug. It's what you learn from it that matters. It's how you create something worthwhile regardless of the meaninglessness of existence. At best you can describe the TVA and He Who Remains as Anti-Villains that believed they were doing the right thing believed that their version of evil was the lesser. But you can NOT argue that mass murder on a cosmic scale of countless worlds, civilizations and innumerable lives of innocents is morally just. Even if the results create stability for others it annihilated many more...Even if you can rationalize the result the cost itself the deeds themselves are immoral.

Basically incursions event spawn in Multiverse 9/11 event When one universe or another get tactical nuke Because of this event caused by heroes who mess up the timeline Eventually lead up to secret wars were all the heroes and villains from different timelines fought on the battlefield like it was the Iraq war Fallujah all over again but in the end the Multiverse get rebooted and some of it get to streamline this will be the same thing in the MCU but different.
