There are religious people who don’t follow men (maybe not Mormon though lol). In Christianity a lot of men suppressed women after they no longer needed their money. Paul and the others put their opinions out there that essentially dehumanized and infantilized women because they put men ahead of them in importance to God. God let it happen and chose men because of the curse of Eve that said men would want to rule over them but the women would only crave them. Which can be broken like how land can be arable. God/Jesus uses women too now so those days are gone. I don’t like it and it’s sad that we have to put up with it but I think certain things had to happen. There are churches now where women lead as well. If you think what I’m saying is ridiculous lol look up shroud of Turin including where they debunk the debunking. I don't agree with anyone but I think both are trying so hard to sell their views and make it a little bit political. I just think we should all live our lives and not force others to agree with our opinions/ideas. Want a farm and 10 kids? Go ahead and find someone that can help you sustain that lifestyle. i rarely comment but I feel like the story is somewhere in the middle, tbh. I think as people grow and experience more things, the stuff they thought they wanted might not be what they wanted after all. I can't speak for her, but I have a friend who went to school for fashion and always wanted to work on movies. Well, she moved to CA and eventually achieved her dream- she's worked with Marvel and DC, as well as doing things for The Boys, etc. But the industry ate her alive and she's leaving it now feeling burnt out and bitter because of how much she gave and how toxic the industry is behind closed doors. I went to school for animation... worked in studios for years. I thought I wanted to do animation for the rest of my life. The industry sucks, I ended up leaving it as well. My priorities have shifted. It's ok and honestly natural for your wants and needs to shift and evolve over time. She said herself she danced for a while but dancing takes so much out of you. There IS a possibility it could be similar to the movie industry where it just TAKES so much from you that it ends up being not sustainable for mental health. It could be that she loved dancing but had children and loved taking care of kids more. That's a possibility as well. And then alternatively, there could be some sort of coercive control situation happening. He could be shitty behind closed doors. Or maybe they don't see eye to eye on EVERYTHING but in general are happy. It's hard to say when you just see snippets here and there of someone's relationship and you can't see the whole picture and the day to day. The greece/egg apron thing was shitty. People can also make mistakes and missteps. I just think everyone is too quick to make assumptions that she's miserable or that she's 100% happy always.

To be clear, it's ballet. It's not exactly some golden industry that's nice and peaceful and cozy lol. Much like fashion, art, etc. Basically any industry that seems glamourous on the outside. Well, in any case, that means we're talking about a very conscientious person in the first place, the whole angle about how she's tired now, but wouldn't be with ballet (the dream and NYC and blabla), is nonsense. However, from what I've seen, she did want to get a ballet studio on the estate, so she still has interest in that, but this wasn't granted. That wasn't very nice. I think the egg apron thing is a PR fluke. They kind of have to LARP now as a trad farm family, but they're not really, they're, of course, a billionaire family which has an airline in their estate, so it sounded totally out of touch (because you know, if they were actually literally some trad farm family, the kind of gift would've made sense and would've been sweet, so I guess that's what they thought when they made the video). Idk of course.

It’s quite the drastic difference from her life before pursuing a dance career after attending such a prestigious school like Juliard. I’m still very sad for her that she only got an apron for her birthday. That’s still her husband not really valuing her and honoring her for everything she does for their family. We see a LOT of women living a life married with kids, and while they may not necessarily feel like they gave something up, they’re still not being fully and properly appreciated by their husbands.

My disappointment with the Ballerina Farm article was that it made it sound like she never finished school, she went to Brazil stuck at home. And Daniel sounded Iike he came up with the farm thing out of nowhere. The interesting thing is, I've been lowkey watching her a bit fascinated and a bit suspicious for a while now. And the article was not the first time I heard some of the stuff written. For a while, the biggest controversy surrounding them was that they were privileged people playing poor by the whole farming thing. Why didn't Ballerina Farm talk about all the details of her education and and her time in Brazil? It took them being sladered on an article to reveal that stuff. Part of me thinks is because they didn't want to be accused of being more privileged than they already were.

These days people interpret sacrifice for family as oppressive. Which is honestly sad. Because you have to make sacrifices for whatever you want in life, for your business or passions, it all requires sacrifice in some way. I know it’s hard for progressive people these days to understand making sacrifices for your family. But if she and her husband always wanted a big family, then she willingly made a choice to sacrifice other things in her life to have and raise her family. And that’s beautiful too. Whether it’s ballet or family, she made that choice for herself along with her husband, whom she also chose. If this isn’t what she wanted she could have married differently or chosen ballet. People are so quick to judge as if this was against her will. It seems like it’s not, this is actually what she wanted. Sacrifice is always hard, that’s why it’s sacrifice. I’m sure it’s sad for her to walk away from her passions but again, she did that for her family that she loves so so so much. I think if she’s happy then she made the right decision for herself and that’s beautiful

I did think when this story came out that it wasn’t as bad as it looked. As someone who came from a conservative religion themselves, I’ve met many women who have undergone the same thing but are just overall happy people. I believe the journalist who wrote the story should be sued as she painted a woman living her life the way she wants, in a horrible lighting. People have to understand that feminism isn’t just about women being able to have what men have and equal rights, but feminism is about allowing women to express themselves freely in whatever way they choose. It doesn’t always have to be a woman standing up to be president for it to be feminism; it can also be a woman choosing to be a mother. Truly the journalist just went with her own agenda and smeared this family’s reputation for her own gain.

Daniel and Hannah have a very unique and beautiful story. They are truly living the American Dream x 100. Hannah still dances at her local ballet studio (even during pregnancy) which brings her joy, keeps her fit, and will always be a part of her life. The reality is professional dancers' careers are quite limited in just a short period. After their performance career has come to an end, ballet dancers can transition into either teaching, choreography, or the business aspect of opening their own dance studio. Hannah's personal decision to commit full-time to their family and their multiple businesses (which are flourishing!!) was the right and best decision for her. It is to be celebrated, not condemned by a woke, FAKE NEWS reporter (Megan) who has far less going for her in her own life. We will never know it and I just find it’s so cruel that people are doing that online calling her a victim and coming after him if she says she’s happy I’m gonna believe her.

There is nothing cruel about criticising a brand. Maybe the onus is on the people who decided to make their family into a brand.

Wake up every day and drop my child off? Girl, she has 8 kids and is aiming for more. Considering all the expectations placed on her, you're envious of her life because she doesn’t have to drop her kids off? With everything she has to manage, she barely has time to properly be with her kids.

i hate the "don't call them a victim if they don't feel like a victim" narrative that gets shoved around for stuff like this when like okay sure. that doesn't make the husband any less controlling, coercive, and selfish from what we can see sooooo idk. also straight up ab*sets want victims to feel like they're not victims for obvious reasons but also so they can push away anyone willing to help and by the time they realize they really ARE being ab^sed they have no one left around to help

There’s a difference between what THEY want and what HE wants! She definitely gave up so much for what he wants

I hate people saying she is a trad wife and that she wants to be perceived only as a stay at home mother when in reality she stresses a lot that she is a business woman, ceo and social media personality, a former dancer and that she has hobbies and aspirations like baking and pageants. How can someone come to the conclusion that she is traditional and oppressed on top of that? Just because she likes to have a big family, loves her husband, is openly Christian and lives on a farm? That’s a very shallow perspective.

I just don’t understand why Hannah couldn’t have at least completed Juilliard before getting married and having children. Being a good partner means respecting each others dreams. It was her dream to be in New York and be a professional ballerina and she denied herself that dream to appease Daniel. That’s the part I can’t get over. It’s such a punch to the gut for her to say “he said I could pursue dancing again if I wanted”… She wanted that before you came along! Why couldn’t she have focused on that first!? She could have had BOTH - the family and the pro ballet career.

This may come as a shock to all you armchair psychologists, but some women genuinely WANT to change a career to make raising children and home-making. It doesn't make them oppressed. And in todays world with rising cost of food and daycare, as well as public schools going to s***, who can blame them? Some people actually do put family first.

Married and baby trapped at 22😢 and basically been a baby making machine for over 12 years now. Its okey to take birth control to catch a break but no they leave it up to «prayer and God» to decide. 😩

Whether her husband is a true villain or not I still wouldn’t want a life where you’re wasting your talent. 8 children, farm, household? That’s too much! The story of him pursuing her and impregnating so fast to trap her is just evil in my books. Not to mention the apron. Really? The way he proudly says it is from Ukraine as if it’s something phenomenal not just an apron.
