That's practically how she always uses the false cord screams, she always puts some clean notes in between those to relieve the pressure. In Holy Roller, "to the left of me" is a prime example of that, with "the" and "of" being sung cleanly, while other words are with distortion.

Courtney's the queen, hands down. This vocal playthrough is insane! It's flawless. I think it's even better as the studio version. Maybe it's because we can see her putting all her feels and emotions into it. She just delivers. And it's amazing and super impressive to see how her vocals improved over the last few years, even though they have always been perfect imho. The ending... do I have to say more? These screams man... giving me chills and wet eyes.

I heard she had some sort of vocal surgery and was working with a singing coach and I think you can definitely see her progress. Very clean and controlled singing and very smooth growls and screams 👌🏻

Who hated on Courtney?!!!! She has a beautiful voice. I actually prefer her cleans over Tati's. Not saying that Tati doesn't have a beautiful clean voice, but I just LOVE Courtney's tone. Either way, they both are amazing. No competition.

Courtney is amazing 💙 Like I stated in the verses video, Spiritbox is fairly new. They just recently met their drummer in person right before their tour this year because of the lockdowns. Zev replaced the original drummer in the beginning of 2020. He was hired through Instagram videos of him drumming :) Jinjer has been touring for years nonstop, so they have had a lot of time to practice together and bond as a band. Both bands are amazing in their own way. Checkout Blessed Be, Rule of Nines, Hurt You, and the XM liquid metal Beauty of Suffering (the whole XM series by them is great and worth checking out.)
