Stop all that grandma hate right now! I'm 66 and I met a nice 79 year old lady outside a cafe on one of my last autumn rides before my SV650 went into hibernation. She had ridden motorcycles since 1963. She sold her Virago a few years ago because she started to fear incidents in junctions where cars "forgot" to stop. Her family and friends are renting a Harley for her on her eightieth birthday next spring. She would have a good idea about a good present for a motorcyclist.

Maybe I'm weird (I know I am, but besides the point), but I never use power tools on my bikes even though I have them! I have a suite of ryobi but when I need to pull the clutch cover or whatever I just make for the hand tools. Tekton pivoting rachets are amazing though, I love being able to snap a bolt loose then screwdriver motion it out.

All solid choices, especially the power ratchet & Tyre inflator. I use mine practically every week. But you forgot about convenient luggage options. Personally, I like the look of the Kriega US-10/20/30 system. You can carry the US-20 & US-30 inside the US-10, and when you need them you can attach the bags to each other. I went with a more moderately priced alternative (blatant copy) & it came in very handy today. I went to one of our motorcycle accessory mega stores here in Australia for an oil filter for a KTM Duke. I came out with the filter, plus 2 new jackets, new gloves & a new pair of boots. The bags got everything home with room to boot.

Brake free is awesome. Your helmet more in line with drivers windshield. LED’s light up 1/4 second faster than incandescent bulbs. At 60 mph that is around 40 feet faster notice to the person tailgating u.

I have to promote a portable air compressor, I didn't realize there was only one gas station air compressor that would fit my wheels, until it was out of service. Making sure my tires are right on the money during these warm/cool days, for best grip and peace of mind. I also am a fan of giant loop portables pouch as saddlebags on my passenger pegs. Also I have a little backpack that compresses into a tiny fist size if I need to carry anything.. oh also various zip ties.....

The selling point for the Cardo Packtalk Edge and Packtalk Pro is not the DMC mesh, that self-healing feature has been a staple since the Packtalk and Packtalk Bold. The selling point for both are the easier to use magnetic mount, USB-C charging, wireless firmware updates, and the new Pro has the crash detection. That last one is the only reason why I’m upgrading to the Pro, every other feature I care about is available on the Bold units that my wife and kid will keep using.

7:50 tether systems will always be better. The sensors and algoritms may work 99.9999% of the time in a crash, but the laws of physics can't fail. I'd also rather not have to worry about recharging my life saving equipment. That, and being able to refill the gas with an off the shelf CO2 tank makes up for the high coat. I'm not giving AS $1500 and then another $300 to refill it if I ever crash

I'll shine a different light on the helmet lights: If you have a top case, you can be almost 80% sure the tail light is gonna be harder to look at for drivers closer to you, and even if you don't, we must share the road with larger and taller vehicles like SUVs light, pickups, and passenger trucks that are the size of a tank (if you go on highways, you can add semis to that). To those drivers our tail lights are pretty dull and with a top case on it or not, pretty much invisible. The higher and brighter you can put your brake light, it will mean a safer ride and higher chances of getting back home in 1 piece.

LEDs can be brighter than incadescent but the real benefit on brake lights is they light up so much faster than incandescent. Gives you better safety as vehicles following can get braking quicker. As for airbag vests check out Bennets latest video. Some are useless for chest protection.

If the glue actually weakens the gel coat of a helmet or the resin that is used to produce said helmet, i would find a different brand of helmet. Plus, it's just another way of the manufacturer to not be liable for a faulty helmet if by chance the helmet had been altered cosmetically

Milwaukee is a solid brand but that $130 battery is not the same in the impact kit. The $130 battery is a 3.0ah high output battery you get a 2.0ah battery with the kit. Now Milwaukee and HD do sell a 2.0ah battery for $100 but I question if they are selling you the same 2ah battery. Ive bought kits in the past the individual batteries are more high performance than the batteries that come in the kits.
