Ah, sweet memories, I still have most of the interrogation and intel communication dialogue fresh in my mind. I've recently replayed the entire series and this one, without doubt, was the peak. Not saying I don't like the other games in particular I forgot how good the game feel of Blacklist was, but as for the perfect point between stealth and shooting (that being "stealth feels awesome, but getting detected isn't just a "load last save" moment and you can shoot your way out of sticky situations, sometimes faster than trying to sneak past"), Chaos Theory got the closest. That's just my opinion, of course, and if you disagree strongly enough I'm willing to entertain rebuttals :)

Sure, I didn't have any plans for tonight, a 4 1/2 hours video of a game I've never played will do nicely Carci. Excellent narration and gameplay (& editing, must've taken a lot of attempts) as always. Can't believe that I've never played a Splinter Cell game before. Bathhouse looks pretty bad, maybe worse for the purposes of your goal. Only other map that I can think of being this badly desinged is Thieves' Guild in Thief: The Dark Project, also a stealth game that could be worth your time (and its two sequels - I'd recommend using the community patches though).

3:31:51 This isn't true, the knockout animation Sam does is based on his position relative to the NPC, so if you wanted to punch buggy him, you'd need to be directly behind him. He does the open palm slap if he's on the side of them, and knees them if he's facing them.

idk man it's been pretty inconsistent for me. i don't think you're lying, but even so, granular control of fisher's knockout move seems unrealistic in practice so you have to create conditions where other bad guys aren't going to otherwise react to it

I find it much more interesting to finish levels disturbing as few things as possible, i.e. ghost them. Knocking everybody out is much safer, sure, but it's cool to complete everything without any evidence left that anybody was even there. It is possible to finish the game with 100% rating with only mandatory k/os and kills (there are like 3 of each). Including Bathhouse (in last segment you just spam noise from sticky cameras in few key locations to buy time for defusal). I know because I've done it way back when this game was still relatively new. Best Splinter Cell game by far, though I enjoyed all of them to some degree.

Duuuude Absolute gem Stoked you got into this game. I grabbed it on steam sale for a few bucks only to discover that the Xbox controller is only half mapped and m&k controls uses mouse wheel to change the speed of your movement in steps. I was sure how to proceed so I refunded it. Good to see it played through.

the mouse wheel thing is slightly awkward at first, but believe me when I say it offers you a level of granular control you will never see on controller. also go to pcgamingwiki, you should find info about controller mapping there probably. i had no problem getting an xb1 controller to work fine with it.

Not sure if sarcasm but....yes. Almost every take down method has a lethal and non-lethal version, it's up to you to decide which to use. As Carci mentions you have to do non-lethal to get 100%, but in normal play there's functionally very little difference between lethal and non-lethal take downs. Lethal animations tend to be faster, but put the guards on higher alert when a dead body is found over an unconscious body. Some take downs are inherently lethal or non-lethal and can't be altered. Drop take downs (landing on an enemy) are always non-lethal, and ledge take downs (pulling an enemy over an edge while hanging) is always lethal.
