Sonic 3's Insta Shield has gotten me out of many close calls as you get a couple of s and can hit enemies from slightly further away! All I need in life is Spin Dash and Insta Sheild, I think peelout is pretty pointless...

Not unpopular to me, the insta shield is still the best Sonic ability that no one implements in hacks (and I couldn't care less about the drop dash). Btw, I was totally unaware of this last hack for some reason... it looks absolutely fantastic!

I think for sonic SMD once it's going to have more content it's probably gonna work like most sonic.exe "survival adventure" type game where after eggman you will play as tails and they will probably meet, of course if they survive, whoever dies will changes the plot (or not depending on how much work they put into it)

I loved Hellfire Saga since it was a Sonic ROM hack for both Sonic and Castlevania fans (that's where the Grim Reaper and Shaft came from) edit: Shaft is the purple priest that Sonic fights who can turn into Mecha Sonic Mark II.

I love how you brought up Hellfire Sage, it was been one of my favorite Sonic rom hacks. 4:07 I was aware of this error though it happened rarely on blastem so at some point I figured it was fixed ig I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure it's caused because of the pallete cycle switching they use the same ram vars that don't get cleared when I switch the pallete cycle that sometimes contain an odd number so that's why it crashes 😐
