Dr. Ray for president !!! that's how inspired and great I feel about watching this MOST helpful video !!! however, I am also mad as hell and I am not gonna take it anymore, foot pain that is... I've been to two different Podiatrist, one of which I visited twice and NEITHER, I mean neither EVER told me what Dr. Ray explained in this video.. Sadly, if when I was first diagnosed with Sedamoiditis, had I been told what Dr. Ray said about foot care.. I truly believed that I wouldn't have ended up with THREE neuromas in my left foot!! one of which, cased on this video, I believed was caused because of the Sesamoid bone shifting over to the 2nd toe.. Why isn't the podiatry community waking up and helping their patients heal...... instead, I was given TWO cortisone shots and they didn't even work.. Dr. Ray, keep these videos coming and I wish you could be a consultant for other poditarist!!! they shouldn't be able to get a license without training from you or those who follow your foot philosophy when it comes to "healing"... Thanks Dr. Ray.. LOVE LOVE your videos !!!

Just discovering your video series, and it's making a lot of sense! As a trail runner, I've suffered with sesamoid pain (turf toe, fracture, etc.) for years. It will improve for a short period of time, then return with full force. Have tried all sorts of shoes, mole skin padding, you name it. Just purchased your Correct Toes and am excited to try this more natural approach to running and shoe fit. Thank you!

Hi Ive been dealing with sesamoiditis for over 3 months now. I was put on a cam walker and given anti inflammation meds (zorvolex) I stopped taking the meds cause I don't like all the drugs in my body. I recently bought these correct toes. How long per day should I wear them? When can I start seeing results? I'm at a desperate point now, nothing has been helping and I had to stop my running. Ive been on an anti inflammatory diet, stretching and rolling my calves nothing is helping. What else aside the correct my toes device would you suggest?

We're so sorry to hear you've been struggling with sesamoiditis. Happily, a lot of our customers have found a lot of success through using Correct Toes! We're glad to hear that you've purchased a pair for yourself. For information on wear-time, check out your manual or our website here: www.correcttoes.com/ In terms of results, they vary too greatly for us to be able to estimate, especially with more complex issues. Aside from Correct Toes, we've found healthy footwear is enormously helpful for many of our customers, especially when used in conjunction with the Correct Toes. Again, check out our website for additional information! Good luck, and if you have additional questions, feel free to give our office a call at 503-243-2699.

I’ve heard of people wearing Hoka shoes to help stabilize the sesamoid bones, especially as a next step out of the boot. I heard they have wide toe boxes too. I think however, that they bend up a little like traditional running shoes. Any thoughts on the Hoka shoes? As for me, I guess I’m asking for the future because for now my 20 month fracture that I only realized 4 months ago, has a piece of bone floating to the side of my metatarsal. It hurts there as well. Getting a cat scan next week to get a better idea if it’s a piece of my sesamoid bone. I thought I could avoid surgery but maybe not .... :(

@correcttoes 4 жыл бұрын
Hi there :) Thanks for the thoughtful question! Overall, we look at 5 fundamental features in a shoe to consider it "foot healthy"- one of which is being flat from the heel to the ends of the toes. As you mentioned, the bend in the shoe/ toe spring tends to weaken the feet by dorsiflexing the toes (extending the toes upward) and overstretching the plantar fascia. This article and linked video below goes over those 5 features and will hopefully serve as a jumping off point in your shoe search: www.correcttoes.com/foot-help/the-fundamental-five/ We hope that your doctor visit went well! Have a happy rest of your summer.

I have had tibial sesamoid fracture with pain in right foot for 3 years. Then a few months ago found out had same thing in left foot after I starting have pain there. I was scheduled for surgery to have sesamoidectomy until I found out about correct toes. I wish I would have heard about them earlier and could have saved my left foot! Anyways my symptoms are much better in both feet when wearing the correct toes and recommended footwear. I Have been wearing for 3 months. Wondering if my sesamoid fractures can actually heal with these correct toes?

I'm curious why my physician wouldn't mention something like this. the sesamoid closest to the inside of my foot is giving me lots of pain so the doc gave me an air cast walking boot but it doesn't seem to be helping.. only the inflammation and swelling is down but it hurts much more.

I was told my bunion created this problem but my doc gave me no ideas on how to correct allignment. This video did :)

Can sesamoiditis be completely cured/healed?
@correcttoes
@correcttoes 8 жыл бұрын
+timm2069 Thank you for your question. Once natural foot alignment is restored the sesamoids begin to go back into their proper place. The length of time may differ from one person to another, but the end result will be healing of sesamoiditis. Hopefully that helped answer your question and we have linked another video that may help. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rX2vm6p3j7ueqLs
