It's finally nice enough out we can do things haha

Bright side of the wind, as it’s definitely your friend when it comes to melting out and drying things up. Pay attention to the drainage patterns, as keeping them open as part of your snow removal, will speed the melt out / drying process in future seasons. Look at where you place your slash pile, as it could end up being a bonfire in the evening at a future event.

It's going to be a burn pile where it ended up. We've done them before in the same spot.

Bro your pond used to one of the best kart tracks around. It's a shame to see it all probably 10 plus feet under water. Had many fun nights of racing on the clay there.

Don't lose hope. There's a chance we may resurrect it. More to come on that this summer.

Dad had us drag around an old box spring behind a GEO (how I learned to drive stick) for leveling out the driveway.
@Greenlightfilming Жыл бұрын
That would probably work even better, to be honest. Also - great way to teach a kid how to drive. I can see my kid doing that in a few years for sure

Great job on the progression of the track!! Can't wait till you do a pace/victory lap with C.E.T.A. Trans Am!!

If only I had found a real pace car! Lol. I'll have it out to the track sometime here. Most of my time gets ate up working, and when I'm at the track I need a truck

I think you could potentially use the water from the pond to wet the road if it gets too dusty. I don't know better but there are plenty of dust binding/prevention/control products out there, and AFAIK, they are mixed to water (or at least some of them). Or just add salt.
@Greenlightfilming Жыл бұрын
No, you are exactly right. Water is commonly used to keep dust down

Need to find someone with a tree harvester 😊😊save the wood so driver's and campers can perchise at a low price every thing helps support the track 😊
@kevinsobiski5212 Жыл бұрын
Pay some teenager like $10/hr to throw those sticks into the trailer as you cut up those trees. You will get it done 5x faster.
@Greenlightfilming Жыл бұрын
I hate to say it, but it's cheaper to do it myself. Every penny matters out here, lol. I do agree with you though

Is he running a accumulator for his oil? Any track racing you should be running one!

why would you cut those trees? they protect the soil, provide shadow, deflect some wind and house wildlife. what's the downside of having them?
@Greenlightfilming Жыл бұрын
Do you mean the trees that are going to fall down?
@saintg4355 Жыл бұрын
@@Greenlightfilming if that's the *down*side than obviously, yes. It's hard to tell from the video, if they are bare from the winter or just dead wood

To increase your revenue you could host other racing like midgets or Go-Karts or hobby stock racing just trying to help 😊😊😊

Burn pile? No-one want this wood for heating?
@Greenlightfilming Жыл бұрын
It's not real great for heating. It's basically pulp wood. People want dry hardwood.
