I hope somebody explains to that young lady that she saved that Trooper's "skin" by returning the spur, but so lucky the man was serving at the stall and could help the Trooper put it back on. Heaven help the Trooper if that had been stolen as a souvi by some tourist and he had been found by his Sgt incorrectly dressed!!!!
@gurvmlkАй бұрын
Indeed. Everybody knew what was going on with the man moving the spur out of view, and then the soldier marching back there a moment later. But that doesn't change the fact that in order to put it back on, the guard needed to do so out of sight.
@CragifiedАй бұрын
He would not have been in trouble, things happen. The fact he didn't stop and continued his duty is more important then anything. They are well respected and treated active service that have been selected to do this. Queen Elizabeth the II was rather well known to get annoyed when the guard were treated poorly. Though she would always chastise the commanders for making them do things in ridiculous conditions out of sight.
