Bought this Tenacious (serrated version) from SFO for my son as a cheap work knife . He's a Lineman and beats the crap out of his tools. It's fell from 70 feet and had no considerable damage, Great blade for the cost. Been meaning to pickup the S35VN version too.

Just got mine today. My 1st "more expensive" name brand knife. The lightweight version. I'm a new knife collector, love the hobby. Question, did your Spyderco Tenacious come with pretty much no lubricant? Like, I can't get the action to "drop" properly lubing her now. Just seems like it'd be fully gliding thru the blades movement, opening is fine, closing is where it's not, it does shut, but not auto with gravity like all the others. Maybe because it's new?
