this show was the best late night show ever. It trumps Carson, letterman and conan by a landslide. It's just crazy good and super underrated. Each episode is unique because of the nature of the whole show. Especially after Geoff went un-robotic and basically became Craig 2.0. The horse, mouth organ, fruit basket, tweets and email jingle. It's fuckin madness. Robin William's best interviews were done here, celebs being flirted, careful icarus. I could seriously write a fuckin book on this show. Once you get into this, other "late" shows are just boring, predictable and entertainment for kids. This was the best it could ever get. Unfiltered madness, non politically correct and just assmodely entertaining.

I’ve been very fortunate indeed. Grew up on Carson, then enjoyed Letterman, and was lucky enough to find Ferguson. Watched each ones last show, and I think all three, in their time slots, and for their audiences, pushed it as far as broadcast T V would allow. All three left on their own terms, and followed the old show business adage, leave them wanting more. Now all we have on late night, is political agenda mouthpieces. We watched these guys, to laugh and forget what we were going to face tomorrow. None of these men told me what to think.

Why didn't one of you selfish bastards tell about this Scottish genius, who's format, personality, and delivery makes one say, "David Letterman? Who the hell is he?" I stumbled across him while surfing the net, and can't get enough of the guy. Craig is an artist at disarming the ladies of their prim and proper celebrity, and creates an atmosphere of tension free banter, filled with subliminal and outright overt sexual trolling that i'm certain, has left many a moist cushion long after the guest has left. Johnny and David ruled the airwaves in their day, but Craig is without peer. Hoot Mon! Still trying to figure out the sure to appear gay gesture/ references, which are as smooth as the rest of his personna. Oh, one last thing...did he "do" Mila? They seemed so "familiar" in Scotland.

I'm sorry but his interviews are actually not great, and I have watched/listened to a lot of interviews! Craig is, at best, hit and miss - his style requires the person being interviewed to play along a lot. If they do it can be fun - Kristen Bell, Ricky Gervais, the late, great Robin Williams but if they don't they can be terrible - Kristen Stewart. many other uncomfortable women etc. I guess it depends on what you would consider a good interview but after an interview I would expect to know something about that person I couldn't find somewhere else. I watch Craig because he can be funny but the interviews are really repetitive - 'are you in therapy?', 'do you have tattoos?', '*enter personal compliment about shoes or jewellery*', 'snake cup' etc and then it's the end of the interview! Can be funny sometimes though, and it's a good compilation - thanks :)

But he hits more than misses. Or you can watch the other talk show hosts bore the crap out of you 90% of the time. Your choice.
@thetruth4189 жыл бұрын
LOL. This has to be one of the funniest comments I've ever read. Not because it's funny but because the person making it has no idea how interviews work. Anytime a person is being interviewed there has to be a give and take between the interviewer and the interviewee. It doesn't matter who is doing the interviewing there will always be people that don't get along with that person and who's personalities don't really mesh well. This has nothing to do with Craig. It has 100% to do with you. You don't like him. Why didn't you just say that up front?

I understand, this show is not for everyone :D But I'm sorry, for me this is my favorite foreign talk show ever. Of course, uncooperative guest won't make any interview good, what's wrong with you dude? Craig said that some of his guest didn't like being in his show, for many obvious reasons LOL That's why many talk show host does a rehearsal, read a card or text to make a watchable interview, but not on this show. Because he just don't give a fuck XD That's the reason why i like him. The show feels kinda organic and authentic to Craig, while others have/need many budget to keep their show interesting with many session/game/whatever (Fallon, Kimmel, Ellen etc.) Not Craig. He just chat and doesn't give a crap. And all talk show hosts and even all human being need repetitive questions, what are you talking about? (like "how are you?" lol) And lately Craig done those repetitive things, he admitted and made jokes about it. He did the show with unscripted question for 10 years, so personally i'm okay with that. What makes an interview great. There's no objective answer. Why i personally enjoy his show, i dunno, maybe his spontaneous act, quick thinking, flirty conversation, dirty jokes, friend-like conversation, Geoff, i really dunno. What i sure know is i can't enjoy most of other talk show because their boring conversation, rehearsed/fake feeling and stardom based. But seriously always does a good interview is an impossible standard and never achieved by anyone. For me Craig always did great a interview (most of it lol) Really sad it's over :( But you know what, to enjoy Craig's show you need one thing, Ass-mode.
