@fikryhasan5225 Same. Massive Queen fan since about 12. I also remember being 17 when Freddie passed away at 46 and thinking "well he was old and had a good life". Now I'm 50 and OMG! He was so young! 46 is only mid-life. So tragic.

No matter how many times I've seen this, and it is a lot, I'm always amazed at Freddie's performance for a man who was so ill. His "I still love you", his final farewell, at the end always brings a tear.

I like also that there is a color version of the recording of the music video, which was filmed in black and white to hide Freddie's appearance. This was the last video... Freddie's "cat jacket" was auctioned in Sotheby's last year, it was designed by Diane Moseley (the same of crown and cape of the "magic tour").

Freddie passed away 33 years ago tomorrow (24th November 91) this video was recorded in the May of that year. I cried like that 33 years ago when I first saw it. Freddie loved his cats, find the song "Delilah" about one of his cats. Much love from England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Freddie’s “goodbye” to the fans. His last words ever on camera “I still love you”. He was very brave to get up there & do this even though he could barely stand. Remember watching this for the first time the day he died & teared up then & still brings lump to throat even now. 33 years later did I think Freddie & Queen would still be so popular- absolutely not, the sad thing is I think Freddie is more loved & appreciated now than he was when he was alive & he never got to see such acclaim from the wider public. From all accounts he was a wonderful person, generous to a fault & so funny. Which makes it all the more sad how he suffered in his last years & makes me despise the press for how they treated him during that period. This video is emotional - his last video appearance “Mother love” is emotional- his last vocal “The show must go on” is emotional because of the powerful lyrics (quite possibly the best lyrics Brian ever wrote) Other emotional stuff (although Freddie wasn’t sick at the time), “who wants to live forever” & “time waits for no one” I’d also recommend “making of one vision (long version) where you’ll see Freddie’s genius at work

He was so sick, everyone was relieved that the video was filmed and he "survived" the filming. However, Freddie said "No, i can do the ""I love you" better." Because he realized that this would be his final words ever recorded.

One of my favourite quotes from Sir Terry Pratchett's books is "No one is finally dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away." Freddie's music will keep his ripples travelling for eternity. Sleep tight Fred, we still love you.

John IS in the video along with Roger and Freddie. Brian is there too but he wasn't present when the video was recorded. Brian was in the US promoting their last album Innuendo and because of Freddie's illness they couldn't wait for him to return, so John and Roger shot the video with Freddie. Brian's part was shot later and carefully added to it. You really can't see that especially on your first time watching it. Because Freddie's frail appearance it was made in black and white but even that can't really mask how frail Freddie was. But he insisted to appear because he knew it was the last time he will stand in front of the camera and he wanted to say goodbye to his fans. 😢 "I still love you." 💔 Freddie, dear, we still love you and we always will.

Yes, John Deacon is in the Video...on the left, sitting on a stool. Even after all this time, it's a tough watch and that guitar solo from Brian gets me every time but the final message from Freddie " I still love you" is worth the effort. From what I've read, the making of this video was a massive effort for Freddie but he insisted on doing it. It was his good bye to all of us.

That was probably the most moving reaction to a song I’ve ever seen. Stacey you are a true empath, feelings run through you even though you never really listened to Queen before. Freddie was a true legend and was loved by every single solitary friend, family and fan. R.I.P. Freddie Mercury, the beloved frontman that sang music that will forever live on in beautiful souls like yours. You are loved, and Freddie is definitely looking down and smiling, loving your words and smilies.

Freddie Mercury was so sick, but still sang his heart out! This was his last video, his goodbye. Also, there's a reason they filmed this in black and white. Watch the color footage and you can see how sick Freddie was. NONE of the bandmates are smiling in this. They KNEW, but the most heartbreaking thing? As sick and in pain as he was, Freddie's smile at that last "I still love you". That's Freddie saying "I know, loves, but life goes on. Be your best selves".

Fun fact: This song was written by the drummer Roger Taylor and it was meant to be about his kids and family, but Freddie gave it additional depth that made it so much better. Freddie left this world on his own terms, the last few years of his life him and the rest of the band were very prolific knowing that he didn't have much time left. The album "Innuendo" from 1991 was their last recorded together, and the "Made in Heaven" from 1995 was pretty much band putting instrumental tracks on pre-recorded vocals of Freddie. I strongly recomend "Who wants to live forever", "Innuendo" and "Mother's Love" (The actual last song that he ever sung, halfway through he put down the mike because he was exhausted that day and he never finished it).

The video was filmed on May 30, 1991. It was Freddie Mercury's last filmed performance, as he died on November 24 of that year. Unreleased backstage footage of the shooting of the video appeared in the Days of our Lives documentary, showing Mercury's deteriorating physical condition (extremely skinny and pale) largely covered up by makeup and colorful attire. Brian May speculated in the documentary that Freddie was "saying his goodbye" in that video, knowing that he would likely not be healthy enough to perform anymore. The song was originally written by Roger Taylor about his children, and how parenthood made him look back on his own life. Inevitably, the song took on new meaning when it was announced that Freddie Mercury had AIDS and knew he was going to die soon when he recorded this. Mercury did not tell the public about his disease until shortly before he died. It's highly likely this was also on Taylor's mind when he wrote the lyrics - Mercury told the band and manager Jim Beach about his AIDS diagnosis in 1987, but ordered them to keep it secret. Brian May described it in the Days of our Lives documentary: "We hid everything. I guess we lied! Because we were trying to protect him." Freddie Mercury made sure the band worked on this song despite his illness. He wanted to make music until he was no longer physically capable, and with the band not touring due to Mercury's health, they spent a lot of their time in the studio working. Mercury insisted on the band giving him music and lyrics, and he would continue to record for as long as his health permitted. His bandmates speculated that recording helped Mercury deal with the illness.

John Deacon was there. The way he was playing the bass was reminding me how good the whole band was, a true supergroup. Roger actually wrote this song for his newborn son, but knowing of Freddie’s illness, it evolved and he has said Freddie made it his own and his true good-bye. Roger now sings it in the few concerts they now do, with Adam Lambert as the lead singer.

Yes, I admire and love Freddie even more knowing how STRONG and how much of a class act he was at the end, never complaining, never feeling sorry for himself, never blaming anyone, worrying about his friends and loved ones more than himself. Stacey, you are such a wonderful soul. I hope life never changes the best parts of you became you are what the world needs. Queen, as we're many others, so good back in the day. Times were difficult for people even that but people made their way through them, together. We listened to great music, had fun and loved. People had tougher skin too and knew the difference between a joke and real meanness. Queens music was, in many ways, like no other and one of the many things that made them popular. You'll find there were singers then who became astronomical stars in their own right and for the right reasons, people who reached such highest and touched the hearts of so many. It's definitely not something you see so much of today and definitely not to such stardom and popularity. It didn't matter what genre of music you were into, each had their own top performers and people got along. Such great times with wonderful memories. Music and film were something special! A great reaction video. Have a fantastic day, take care! ❤

I knew you were gonna react to this song, seeing as several people I saw in the comments of previous videos requested it. I love this song despite the sad undertone. I’ve been watching your videos reacting to Queen songs, and I’ve enjoyed them, especially the live aid performance. I knew this song was gonna hit hard for you, but I’m glad you reacted to it. I hope you’re having yourself a lovely day. Definitely am glad to have been enjoying your reactions to Queen lately ❤ Also, John was in the video. If I remember correctly, Freddie, Roger and John were present to record most of the shots in the music video, but Brian at the time was busy with something. But sometime later (a month or so, I can’t recall at the moment), he showed up to record his parts. He was edited in the wide shot of the entire band near the end of the video, which was nice to give a final view of the band members together

Hi Stacey. In 20 days I'll be 59. Queen was one of the bands that accompanied me during my adolescence. Every time I watch this video I can't help but shed a tear. It takes me back to those days when, even if we denied it, we knew Freddy was leaving us. I send you a kiss. Claudio, from Córdoba, Argentina.

I'm 55 years old and have been a Queen fan since the age of 10. Was lucky to see them live 3 times. When I watch this video it still makes me feel sad. Love watching your reactions. John Deacon was in the video, Brian filmed his section separately as he was on tour. You are right this was Freddie saying goodbye to his fans

I was 14 when I bought my first ever single, Bohemian Rhapsody. I would kick it out from my bedroom window across the park for the world to hear. Obviously, it has been carved into my mind for my entire life. It was my first ever single ... I watch lots of streamers reacting to British music. You are top of the list, lady. I love your passion for music, I also love your facial expressions, your emotions, and let's not forget your beauty. You've just made a grown man cry ... again ! Btw, my first ever album ? Elton John, Captain Fantastic and the Dirt Brown Cowboy, now that's a title !!!

Yes, John is there in this video...he was the only band mate that could not bring himelf to see Freddie in his last days. Queen was his safe space during his illness. This was his goodbye, with a beautiful touch.

"Mother Love" was his last recorded performance. But he did not return to the studio the next day because was unable to sing the last verse so Brian finished it for him.

A very heartfelt song written by Roger Taylor (drums) of Queen... Apparently, it was written to Freddie Mercury, knowing he was ill and would be gone soon... Roger and Freddie knew each other before Queen got together and said he was feeling melancholy and wanted to write something positive about the present. Roger Taylor sang 'These are the days of our lives' ... recently on tour w/ his son Rufus Taylor playing the drums. John Deacon (bass) was in the music video. He was playing bass...

Great reaction to one of Queen's most melancholy songs and videos. Still breaks my heart a bit and I still tear up. John Deacon is in the video in several places, but as the most reserved and retiring of the band he never really was one to want to spend much time in front of the camera. After Freddie passed away he did only a few more performances (IIRC) with the band and he was obviously uncomfortable and pretty much chain smoking cigarettes before the performances, and after the last performance he told Brian and Roger that he couldn't do it again. I understand that he's still very involved with the band's business and is involved in the financial decisions and legacy decisions, like approving the movie made about the band, but he really never seemed comfortable on stage and in public without the bulwark of Freddie's personality to kind of hide behind. As someone who often feels very awkward in social situations unless I have close friends to hide behind/prop me up, I can understand that. He has basically become a recluse, and I can understand that too. Other Queen songs I think you should react to: Seven Seas of Rye: Another song like Killer Queen that doesn't go on long enough. Very upbeat! Teo Torriate: Another great somewhat melancholy song like this one, but from much earlier in their history. You're My Best Friend: A wonderfully happy song written by John Deacon for and about his wife Veronica who he has been married to since 1975. 🙂

Freddie was in the studio making thier what would be final record w/ Freddie."Made In Heaven" 1995.He kept asking them to write more lines. His last song was Mother Love.Guitarist Brian May sang the last verse.Right after Freddie passed. Another heart wrenching song & video is No One But You (Only the Good Die Young) The surviving members Brian May & drummer Roger Taylor .If you can watch that one.Still a tear jerker though

The Show Must Go On is a MUST watch! There is no LIVE version, as he was too sick. But the "live" fan edit is pretty good. I prefer the official video, though, as it shows Freddie throughout his career. Brian wrote the song for Freddie, and was afraid it would be too difficult for him to perform in his state at the time. But Freddie took a shot of vodka, and said "I'll fucking do it!" He never turned down a challenge, he always had an optimistic mind, and he would do ANYTHING to give his fans his very best, until the very end.

GREAT reaction Stacey!! Such a beautiful song - it always gets my eyes misty! You, like Freddie, have a deep love of cats - you should hear the song 'Delilah' from this same album - dedicated to his cats! When this video came out, it was before his death - you can imagine our surprise (and shock & heartbreak) at how he looked! Rewind to the videos for I Want It All & Scandal, etc. from 1989's The Miracle - you could see something was different with him - he had a beard which helped to hide some of the changes, but speculation on his health had begun. Contrast to here...we saw a gaunt, pale Freddie - a previously fit and exuberant was gone. Keep in mind that he only confirmed his illness a day before he died!! But we knew here that something was up...and the song only served to reinforce his 'goodbye' to us! Yes, it's painful to watch - and you can also see it on his bandmates' faces! And yes, John was there in a couple shots. RIP Mr. Mercury, you were one of a kind! A Queen forever.

The video was done in May 91, he passed 6 months later in November 91. He did the very last I still love you, looking straight into the camera, knowing that was the last time people would see him on camera The cat waist coat was made specially for him and are the cats he owns, the main one on the front is Delilah, his favourite. Also wrote a song about her for Queen of the same name. Maybe you should react to it. I find it rather funnya
