Though I work on balance and coordination every day, progress is very slow.....but over time there is noticeable improvement. I'm not afraid of falling. If you saw me in ordinary life activities, you would not know that I have any balance problems at all. You have been a valued motivator!

@beverlynelson ... I feel you... been on the same boat at 61 yo. .Noticed the loss of balance more and more...specially when moving around in a hurry. Actually, I am doing BOTH standing pilates AND yoga for SENIORS only... I find the senior pilates energizes me without straining... and the senior yoga relaxes and stretches me gently but mot effectively like nothing else can. And I only do standing for both... to keep things even simpler...

This was good to get shoulders working again after cardiac surgery, had shoulder restrictions for 8 weeks so you know my swimmers arms are shot. so this was pretty good entry back to exercise I have done lower extremity but note balance not as good so work out now as much as I can without hurting. Hi Rachel. When you ask us to do more balletic moves and work our arms, it is very apparent why ballet dancer’s bodies are so muscular 😊 I enjoy more challenging classes, so one senior class a month would be my vote 👏💕

So pleased to be back. I haven’t done any of you exercises for about a month! I went to London to celebrate my 70th birthday. We had a ball, such a fabulous time! Unfortunately I returned with Covid! I’ve been quite poorly & ended up with a chest infection & it affected my asthma badly. So after a course of antibiotics & steroids, I’m gradually improving. I decided it was time to start exercising again! I struggled a little, but it’s good to be back & loved this class, which I’ve done several times! Thank you Rachel X

After 3 weeks of balance work I am getting better. It doesnt look as good as yours, but I am happy. Painful knees is over. I hope for a long time. So thanks a lot for your endless exercises.
