Seems like a lot of fun for me and my group. Helps that we also all love Star Trek and Lower, but this also doesn't seem like a low effort cash grab with an IP carrying it. I'm excited to play this with my friends, thanks for the video.

That's a clever design, balancing fun vs work. But... I'm a much bigger fan of TNG, where the ship is run in a more professional way.

The creator Mike McMahan also made Solar Opposites and was a Rick and Morty showrunner, so it has some of that sort of vibe. Irreverent, fast-talking, with lots of quick gags.

IMO the first few episodes of the first season were in the douchey and crude range; series improved from there.

It certainly raised a few eyebrows when it first came out! I hadn't heard anything about the game until it turned up for review, though. I understand Modiphius also publish an RPG supplement for Lower Decks which would probably be quite amusing for the right crowd.
