Just returned home from a demo night. Enjoyed the gameplay mechanics and strategy but WHAT were you thinking with the core box contents??? WHY would you not include enough dice to fully create the needed dice pools for Luke/Darth or for a complete unit of troopers for that matter? WHY would you not include 2 sets of the attack and movement measurement sticks? Will it be a fun game?...probably...but don't cheapen it by making me drop more money right off the bat just so I can smoothly play the game.

Definitely hoping for some Clone Wars era content. Need me some Clones & Jedi Order & I doubt a tabletop game like this will be able to have much longevity if it just sticks to the OT era and rebels vs Empire. Definitely hoping to see some Rogue One & Star Wars Rebels stuff added after they get the obligatory OT nostalgia stuff out of the way.

Hedgehobbit not quite as hard as Games workshop plastics more in line with the plastic warlord use for bolt action.

Shame the design didn't fully take into account the idea of using characters, a real surprise for Star Wars! If the game had an attachment system like CMON's A Song of Ice and Fire where you slip named characters into units to give them a buff it would have been able to skillfully handle adding minor new characters like Jyn Erso. Instead they have to be represented by a high-powered super-character, more like a Warhammer 40K Lord, which just doesn't work for Jyn and leaves out all the lesser characters from Rogue One, Rebels, the heroes from Imperial Assault, etc.

I got to play this game last week-end at a demonstration. I last played miniatures more than twenty years ago. My wife of fifteen years may not be seeing much of me. That demo game has rekindled a fire and Legion could be a a reason to forget tge to do list. Unless it is painting that new squad of stormtroopers.

I really like the look of all your Star Wars games, and I'd for sure love to get into them all if I came across the funds. I've seen your other promo videos, and they got me even more hyped to try them out. But the guy talking about this new one? He sounds bored. If I wasn't already interested, he wouldn't really get me excited for it. If anything, I'd be turned off to it. How could I as a consumer get excited for something if the guy trying to sell me on it sounds like he's doing a dry run of a script reading? Just something to keep in mind for the future.

if you don't really care, its as simple as buying some spray paint primer, priming the imperials Red or Black, and spraying the rebels, Red or Brown. just so you can tell the difference in "Good and Bad"

Remember that time Luke and Vader commanded armies against one another on Endor then had an epic saber battle amidst said skirmish? Yeah me neither. This is why Disney, and therefore FFG, should have went Old Republic instead. Being based upon the OT kills this for me.

mikeT1100 Nah, my priorities are fine. You're right. It's just a game. There are a million others that make more sense. I don't have to buy into this one just because it's STAR WARS! I love SW however. Would just have liked for this one to be better with more room for some story elements and campaigns that weren't so jarringly absurd due to canon. If you're a fan of an IP, you're going to want to see it done well or as best as possible. I don't see anything wrong with that. Sorry if that upsets your blind obedience to compulsively buy into anything that carries your favorite logo.

Game Talker I have no plans on buying this game. If you want to make your own canon or stick to established canon in a tabletop game you should stick to RPGs. Don't write off at game as shit just because it doesn't follow a narrative, that's absurd.

It would seem less convoluted had it been set in a period where there is far more room for nuance and formulation of consistency to one's own story/timeline.
