Stardew Valley kept me sane while I was sick in bed with COVID-19. I must have put over 160 hours into it last month. This video is pretty much how I got into Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon, and years later I’ve put in at least 250 hours on the Nintendo Switch version. The new update came out recently, but for some reason or another, I can’t get back into it. It’s difficult to pick back up when the game is in Summer. I plan on ending my Stardew Valley hiatus soon, so I can return to Auburn Farm.

I purchased this game over a weekend during which I was recovering from strep throat. I logged 24 hours of playtime in two days. This game is crazy addicting. I decided my character (male) would just leave romance open to whomever, no real gender preference. But after a while, I began to hate Haley the fashion girl so much that I have been actively going for the jock, just to protect him from her influence. And yes, the guys do get much more interesting once you get past the surface.
